Jack W. Hayford is president of The Foursquare Church and founder and chancellor of The King's College and Seminary. Best known as "Pastor Jack," founding pastor of The Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California, he is also the prolific author of dozens of books and 600 hymns, including the classic "Majesty." Dr. Hayford and his wife, Anna, have four children, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Jack Hayford never disappoints and more than anyone, he taught me the importance of PRAISE. This is a wonderful expansion and direction to incorporate praise in one's everyday life. A key phrase was, 'Reading Scripture is feeding one's spirit' and that is absolute Truth. Without time spent in God's Word, we will wither and die. Excellent book and very easy to read.

Jack Hayford has a gift for drawing the reader in and focusing him on the true meaning of worship. A great book for daily devotions, or use in small groups. Each devotion includes a scripture verse from the Psalms, a short reading written by JH, a few scripture references, a prayer and some thought provoking questions. A great book.
