This was a good action romance novel. It had the right amount of both. It's about a photojournalist who gets kidnapped by the Triads and drugged. After she escaped she tried to tell her story but everyone thinks she's crazy so no one really believes her. Then one day she was caught taking pictures of some important Triad members and is forced to go on the run. She doesn't know who to turn to because she's suspicious of everyone including the CIA. One night she was rescued by the hero who is an agent for a private spy company. He was sent to save her because he was the nearest agent around. He didn't want to take the job because he didn't want to be responsible for another person again. Both the hero and heroine suffered through alot in their past. The hero was tortured and forced to watch his wife and unborn child die. The heroine was kidnapped and drugged and had her life taken away from her. The CIA wanted her to go into the witness protection but refused to because she didn't want to give up her life or the hero. I like the hero and the heroine alot in this story. I'm glad in the end they got their happy ending.
