I debated between this necklace and another, finally deciding upon this one due to the sturdy chain. Unfortunately the chain that was sent is much thinner, cheaper and actually has tacky gold mixed with the silver. I'm quite unhappy, but did give it three stars because the pendant is nice. Regardless, I'll probably return it.

I bought this for my girlfriend since her birthstone is Aquamarine and she loved it. The heart is actually about the area of a penny (for lack of a better comparison). It isn't too big but is actually a great size for a necklace. My girlfriend loved it and wears it everyday.

It isn't, of course, a glamorous piece that you would wear only for fine dining, but that's not to say it isn't eye-catching. The blue is stunning and very well cut. I'm no jeweler, but I don't think many would look at it and believe it was an inexpensive piece. The casing for the jewel is very nice as well and as of now hasn't turned darker/stained as some cheaper products do over time (it's been over a year since purchase). The chain is nice as well, and durable. My girlfriend is... well kind of a klutz, and even after dropping, storing in purse, and numerous other fumbles, she hasn't been able to break the chain or clip (she has done this many times on her other jewelry). So I think that says a lot to it's durability.

The case it came in was nice as well, not an engagement case, but it was nice.

All in all, it's a nice piece that will make your girlfriend, wife, or even daughter quite happy for a low price if your on a budget.
