The coolest Doo Wop in existence, September 14, 2000

Others may have their horses to ride when it comes to Doo Wop, but how could anyone deny that the releases ultimately compiled into the LP Heart and Soul were among the very cream of the era? The cumulative effect of these numbers gives one a kind of complete immersion in Doo Wop. It would be hard to imagine a more satisfying collection than this. Everything about H&S is pure excellence. If I could recommend only one Doo Wop CD this would be it. Although later and not quite on same level, the selections on For Sentimental Reasons just add to the overall value of this CD, which would be worth the money just for Heart and Soul alone. Doo Wop heaven awaits you. Get this CD while you can.
