Sandra Kay's Heart of Stone is an engaging story about two people learning to love and trust again and about the importance of family. You won't be disappointed you invested in this wonderful romance.

This book was just what I needed for a perfect escape. The characters were engaging, and the story had some unusual twists and turns. I didn't want the book to end! I will be looking for other books by this author. It was one the best romance novel I have read in a long, long time!

Platonic Marriage,
By Ruth Thompson "Weaver of Tales" (Venice, FL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Heart of Stone (Paperback)
This is my first book by Miss Kay. It is a good quick read. She does keep you turning the pages with several surprises. You must find out if a platonic marriage will survive. Read and find out how this fast moving romance ends. By Ruth Thompson the author of "The Bluegrass Dream" and "Natchez Above The River."

Heart of Stone,
This review is from: Heart of Stone (Paperback)
Hi Readers,
I understand that as authors we can't please everyone. We are all individuals with our own taste in reading material, just as in music. Although I appreciate Julie A. Pope "Julie ann" taking the time to leave a review, I have an author's need to defend my "baby." I'm posting some additional facts about Heart of Stone. AWARDS AND HONORS FOR HEART OF STONE INCLUDE: Heart of Stone has received multi 5-Star Reviews. Heart of Stone won First Place in the Ft. Bend Writers Guild contest. Heart of Stone was #1 on the Bestseller List for full length novels at The Wild Rose Press for several months. Heart of Stone was up for Favorite Book of the Month in December. Heart of Stone was a CAPA Nominee. Thank you for indulging my liberty in giving Heart of Stone a 5 star review, but I really do love the book! lol Sandra Kay

Just didn't get there,
By
This review is from: Heart Of Stone (Kindle Edition)
I had high hopes for this book and this author has potential, but this book wore me out. It just wasn't realistic and really bordered on "cheesy". The main character CONSTANTLY called the heroine "little gal", UGH! Talk about an overused phrase. Yikes! It was like fingenails on a chalk board. The heroine called the main character "Blue eyes" when she just met him. It just came across forward and lame. It was just awkward and unrealistic and I gave up 60% into it and decided not to waste any more time feeling irritated. I do wish this author well, but your first step will be to"Get Real!"
