my mother used to collect stone hearts - sometime I just couldn't 'see' the heart shape but she always could - it must be an artist thing - there is now a small following of her artist friends than manage to find all the hearts along the shoreline. its a gift she was able to share with them and now, I found this book - I wish I could have shared it with her. Its beautiful and brought back so many wonderful memories - it prompted me to really look at the stones I've massed together from mom - there are so many hearts - i never knew the treasures so close at hand. now maybe I'll be able to find those washed up on the shore. Its a wonder book - a simple joy.

This is a sweet, charming book! I have been collecting heart shaped rocks for many years -- it's amazing how many there truly are to find. Perhaps this is nature's way of reminding us that our hearts are always available, near, accessible, and ever present amidst the often overlooked details of our chaotic, busy and overscheduled lives. This is a cute Little Book, (little) But the pictures are great. I have been collecting Heart Shaped Stones for all my adult life, and now have my family members looking for them too. Heart Shaped Stones are just so neat. When you find one its like finding a treasure!

This will make the perfect little gift for my sister who is an avid collector of heart stones.

I absolutely loved the photos and the titles, but the book itself is very small. The pictures are very small too. It would of been better if it was a full size book like 8"x10", but its only about 5"x5". Other than that, very nice pictures!

This book is excellent. Being an individual who finds heart rocks all the time; I was so pleased to recieve this book.

This book was given to me as a gift by my nieces after going to their beach house with them and mentioning that I collected heart shaped rocks. I did not find one that day, but was deeply touched that they remembered and sent this exquisite art book. The science in nature may be first excited by the appreciation of its art and mystery. I am so amazed after reading these reviews that there are others out there collecting heart shaped stones and rocks. I never seem to find them when I am looking, but they always show up as quiet surprise making me slow down and appreciate the wonder deep in my heart. Josie's collection, presentation and comments touch the heart and soul. It is a beautiful work.
