Finished book on 1/22/2012.We recently had our first child (a boy), so I got this collection on motherhood. These stories encourage, inspire, challenge and convict. A story has the power to implant truth in our hearts more powerfully than a large tome full of endless facts and figures. These stories made me want to live up to the examples of motherhood and also made me aware of areas I wanted to be careful of, such as discouraging our children or being too quick to jump to conclusions. Overall, I recommend it to any mother who wants an idealized example of motherhood in all its vast array of forms. |
