5.0 out of 5 stars A must for all Cardiothoracic Surgeons in Training, March 29, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Heart Surgeon's Little Instruction Book (Paperback)
This is a highly entertaining and educational book with many short little one-liners that reflect the practice of the art, and has many handy tips that we have already heard before from our consultants - now all collected into one small book.

Contains over 400 quotations. Examples include:

Despite frantic urgings from the referring physician, avoid operating on dead people.

If the pupils remain small, the soul usually cannot escape.

These quotations are classified into several sections- Preoperative Operative & techniques Postops Residents & other fellows Colleagues and other strangers.

It is very easy reading, and can be finished within half an hour.

Enjoy.
