The author did not disappoint me. The first volume was excellent and so was this one. She has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are in the story with the people she is writing about. I can't wait for volume 3.

Debbie Macomber's Heart of Texas,

This review is from: Heart of Texas, Vol. 2: Caroline's Child / Dr. Texas (Paperback)
Debbie Macomber is an excellent writer who pulls the reader into the stories so that they have trouble putting the books down until completed. When they are finished you can't wait until the next one is started.

I loved reading all four stories in the Heart of Texas series. Debbie Macomber does a great job telling a story.

This series is so much like Cedar Grove. Except you meet new people in a new town, with every day problems, like the rest of the world. Great read, as always for Deb

Read Volume I first to get most out of book, but not necessary to enjoy Volume II. You get to know the characters and look forward to picking up the book to continue when you have the time to read. You hate to have it end. Most of her stories have predictable endings, but make you feel good when you finish. I'll go onto next volume, I'm sure.

Enjoyable Reading,

This review is from: Heart of Texas Vol. 2 (Heart of Texas (Mira)) (Kindle Edition)
These books are all very enjoyable. My only problem with them is the kindle price. First of all it is really one book, broken into two parts, so you are not actually getting two books for this price. Also whoever formatted them for kindle did a very poor job, as many words are sep a rated (as an example) which is quite annoying when you are reading it. If not for these two issues, I would have given it a five star rating (in their romance category).

I have really enjoyed these Heart of Texas books. I'm on the last one now and hate for it to end.

Debbie Macomber never dissapoints. Her writing is imaginitive and soul soothing. If you need a place to escape to she will provide a world that we'd all like to live in. Thanks Debbie
