Pencey Prep was formed from the ex-members of local punk heroes Sector 12 and Stick Figure Suicide. They were a rare mix of punk, emo, and indie rock. Originally released in 2001, the band broke up shortly thereafter, and this title has been unavailable for over two years. Before bands like The Used and Thursday were mainstream successes, Pencey Prep was creating music that fused many styles together while keeping true to punk rock roots.

This is a DEFINATE MUST to any emo/indie lovers collection. The eerie keyboard and astonashing vocals are enough to blow anyone away. Its an awful shame that they broke up because this is good music! If you dont already own Heartbreak in Stereo, you should order it as soon as possible. You will NOT be dissapointed. And If you think My Chemical Romance is good with Frank as guitarist, you should check him out as lead singer/frontman! Fantabulous..

I used to listen to Pencey Prep all the time on limewire, so when i found out that my actual ten faveorite pencey prep songs where on one CD i rejoiced. its an awesome cd, with haunting keyboards and the vocals are amazing! i also love my chemical romance, but i didnt know that frankie's voice is so amazing. its a great cd- definetly worth buying, especially since this band isnt around anymore. i just wish i could clone frankie so i can have both mcr and pencey prep in my life.

heartbreak in stereo is one of the most friggin awesome cd's out there...it's a shame that pencey had to split...but now frank's in mcr, which is another great band.
if you're into emo...with some screamo thrown in...you need this cd.
you'll regret it if you don't get it.
i know it...you'll just start crying after you realize there's no more copies.
