Love this song from John Mayer (and I'm not his biggest fan). I heard this song in the film Date Night and have had it on my Ipod ever since. Excellent melody and harmony. I would definitely give John a roll of the dice for his next release.

For a moment, forget John Mayer's awful interview with Rolling Stone (1-year) and Playboy. His "Heartbreak Warfare" is a pop masterpiece. It's bluesy, rocking, and for anyone who's been through a breakup, there are no winners in heartbreak warfare. It's a vivid, powerful song. John Mayer shows off his blues guitar skills, which are considerable. It's so much better than his overrated, terrible "Say." "Heartbreak" speaks to the soul.

There is honestly no question that John Mayerhas had some songs that have been very mixed from songs that show to remain the test of time like Clarity and Say from The Bucket List. While his last single, Who Says, from his latest album Battle Studies wasn't very strong as a track, it surprises me that his second single, Heartbreak Warfare is actually better than his first single. He brings in a more melodic tone and mood that matches his distinctive style. It honestly is better than most of the songs out there on radio from Rihanna, Beyonce' right now. I really think this a good addition to your MP3 library, and that is something worth its heartbreak.
