This portable fireplace looks really nice in the photos. Upon receiving it the luster fades quickly. It arrived dinged up with spots missing paint, and to my joy pre-rusted. Haven't even used it yet and its rusty. This fireplace of course comes in many pieces. The miserable excuse for assembly instructions is laughable at best. If you are not comfortable assembling products on your own without the aid of proper instructions, pass on this fireplace. Overall, very poor construction, not sturdy at all. The manufacturer should be ashamed for producing this and Amazon should be ashamed for selling it. I have never been moire disappointed in a purchase than this.

I recently purchased the noted product through Amazon.com which I am most disappointed with. The item was delivered well beyond the anticipated due date, was either damaged in shipment, or damaged prior to purchase and delivery, either way it was received in a condition which I would not have accepted had I purchased this item outright / conventionally through a retail store offering same.
Lastly, which is most disturbing, the product came in an 'incomplete manufactured condition'. Meaning, there were several like kind parts to this item, all of which were critical to the assembly of the unit...which I was required to do. Each of those parts were to have two 1/4" holes drilled in it to be able to insert bolts through each in order to connect it to other pieces of the unit. One of those units did not have the two 1/4" holes drilled in it...which I had to do myself. Fortunately, I had a metal drill bit correctly sized to do the job...MYSELF!
No where close to what I bargined for Amazon. Nor is this something I will likely choose to do again, or recommend others to do as well. Too much to risk for the minimal savings I derive from purchasing through your services.

had 2 of these fire places ,bought 1 for my son ,we all enjoy having fires in evening and feel safer from falling logs 7 sparks even cook after getting a good hot coal bed.
