5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value
Quality material and workmanship complete with vent to prevent mildew. We are using this cover for a stack of six high-back chairs and the fit is perfect.

2.0 out of 5 stars Only lasted 17 months
Disappointed that the cover rotted into strips after about a year and half of Ohio weather. Bought from Amazon for $13.99 in late Oct 2006 and the cover was rotted through after this winter. It did fit a stack of 6 chairs perfectly and no problem with mold or mildew. Chairs stacked and stored outside on protected south side of house under eaves for winter months. Maybe...

Maybe heat of sun did it in. Surprised me since I thought the light tan canvas-like material would last better than the (what seemed to be cheaper) rubbery black covers I bought at the same time from Amazon for both our over-sized grill and the captain-style swivel chairs for our outdoor dining set that I couldn't fit in our storage shed. At the time I was disappointed I couldn't get the tan canvas covers for everything, now I'm obviously glad I don't have to replace those items ... they are still going strong and they are stored for cold months in the same south-facing location.

These covers are very well made with an elasticized band sewn into the bottom for securing them. They keep my chairs (with their pads attached) clean and dry during the heaviest rain and the vents in the back and front assure that everything stays mold free.

5.0 out of 5 stars Durable heavy-duty canvas fabric - a must-have for outdoor patio chairs, May 30, 2008

We're really happy with them, keeps the chairs clean when not in use or off-season, the canvas fabric is heavy-duty with two small mesh vents at bottom in front and back. We are using one to store plain white plastic patio chairs, and it covered 12 chairs with about 3 inches clearance at bottom. Originally I had only put 6-7 chairs in a stack before I covered them, and there was a lot of bunched up fabric at the bottom, but then I added all the chairs and it fit better. We love it, and I have recommended to family and friends already.

Bought in April '09. In less than a year, I noticed yesterday that the top is dry rotted and ripped. It has been in the NJ elements for 10 months, but I would have expected a longer life than this. Also, it is water repellent, not water proof. I often found my chair pillows very wet after rain. My next cover will be more of a plastic type than this cloth material. This seems to be a better cover if your chairs will be in the garage - or at least under an awning or in the shade.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, May 27, 2010

Works pretty well. I cover 4 chairs that have cushions on it that I bought from walmart. The cushions were a medium size cushion not the super thick ones. I had a problem stacking all 4 chairs because the last chair wouldn't get over the top of the other 3 though. So I have to pull the cushion off the bottom chair which I then place on top of the chair pile. All of this and the cover fits fine. It just about touches the ground. The wind vents on both sides(front and rear) are a good idea. The material is thick and should last a while. I have only had it about 2 months nows so I guess I will see. The bottom has a draw string if you want to tighten the lose slack depending on how many chairs you have. You probably could stack 8 of those plastic chairs without any cushions under this. Its a good deal and makes it much easier than having buy and put covers on every chair. This is my first time using a cover but I want to see what impact it has on preserving the life of the cushion and chairs.

Update: Made it through one full year but definitely showing some wear and tear. The material stiffened a little causing it to tear easily. I hope that it will get me through one more year, but I would have to downgrade it to 3 stars because it might not. I had to duct tape two.

Need some chair covers that would hold up during the winter. Got to hand it to this company, especially after we had a worst winter in decades. Over 75 inches of snow...they held up nicely. Just put it away for the spring/summer and did not see any damage to it. Got the Chaise and stack covers. Both in excellant condition after our winter.

3.0 out of 5 stars chair cover, October 17, 2010

This stack chair cover is for the plastic stacking chairs, not for the high back folding, stacking chairs. It did not fit over the 6 stacked chairs that came with the table set. The cover was not big enough to fit around the chairs when stacked. Hopefully it will keep some of the rain off the chairs in winter, but know that this cover is for the cheap stacking chairs. not the metal chairs that stack.

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect size and fit, only lasted 12 months, August 3, 2009

I have been trying to find an affordable cover for my four stackable sling-back patio dining chairs. This one fits so perfectly!

Update June 2010: We leave this chair cover on our open patio year round with full morning sun. The cover ripped as my husband put it back on this weekend. So in our climate/location, this chair cover lasted about 12 months. I don't have anywhere else to store the chairs, so I will be getting another cover every year I guess.
