Sad, but still good,
This review is from: Heartland Special Edition: Beyond the Horizon (Paperback)
This is a story about Amy's spring break. She returns to Heartland in the middle of everything and has trouble coping with all the differences in not only Heartland but also the people there. She ends up getting a call from a friend from college, Will, who asks her to come down to Arizona to help a horse. Then Amy has to decide whether to leave Heartland behind again while she travels on to Arizona. The end of this book left me very sad and upset. I really hope that Brooke will write another Heartland book because without another story the series would seem incomplete. Although I still really enjoyed the book like I've enjoyed all the Hearltand books the ending really left me surprised and sad.

Sad, but Good,
This review is from: Heartland Special Edition: Beyond the Horizon (Paperback)
This book was very good. I however didn't like how it ended, it was rather depressing. A very good book, but it had one of those endings that make you hate the book. I'm not going to tell you what went down. This book was about Amy's spring break. When she returns to Heartland, things are different and she feels awkward and sad because she isn't use to changes. Than in Arizona there's a troubled horse that needs Amy's help. She goes, and realizes that things haved changed whether she likes it or not. And it's time to face those changes.

Greatest ever!!!,

This is the most amazing book in the series! Amy comes home from college for Spring Break. While she is thrilled to be back at Heartland, she finds things have changed, including her relationship with Ty. When she gets an urgent call from her friend Will about a troubled horse, Amy heads to a ranch in Arizona. Once there, Amy goes Western and works with Loup, a horse who needs to find his trust in riders again. Amy has one week to get Loup ready for the cattle drive. Will she succeed and bring the old Loup back? Amy also finds that when she returns home, she needs to make a difficult decision about her relationship with Ty. This book is a must read for Heartland fans! I think Lauren Brooke is coming out with yet another special! Thank you Lauren for writing more Heartland books!

Beyond the Horizon,
This review is from: Heartland Special Edition: Beyond the Horizon (Paperback)
Another Heartland favorite! I liked how it was set out in Arizona and the cattle ranch, and Amy's idea to help the horse was a good one, at least in my mind. This book was very well written and the characters well-potrayed. Amy discovers that Heartland isn't the same, and she makes a mistake or two, and she begins to wonder about her future. It didn't get too sappy in the end when Amy talks to Ty, or when she has to decide on whether to stay at Heartland or go to Arizona. The plot line was good and kept you wanting to keep reading, and I would definitely buy this special edition (I like it better than A Holiday Memory). Heartland is a big favorite of mine.

I thought this book was ok. I was dissappointed with the ending, but relationships change all the time. I really liked will or whatever the heck his name was. However I really didnt think this book was nessisary. I think book 20 ended it will enough. but it was lauren brooke so of corse it was always worth reading.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Heartland Special Edition: Beyond the Horizon (Paperback)
this book was well writen, i expesaly like this sries because of the info you can learn. I have one major problem though..... why did Amy brake up with Ty???!!!!!!!!!!!!????! it made me soooooooooooo sad!!!! and mad. it was totalty pointless, though it could make a great story if they got back togather. i read the next one so it seems that Amy is jmust waiting for it to happen, though they did need the break to date around. that would make it more realistic.
7 words: Amy and Ty are ment to be!!!!!!!!!

This review is from: Heartland Special Edition: Beyond the Horizon (Paperback)
I was told by someone that this book might be a disappointment to me and it kinda is. It's an okay book but I don't like how it ends. I'm not going to give away what happens, but just know that you might be disappointed, and that you should still read it. I just hope Lauren Brooke will make another Special Edition and... Well yeah, I said I didn't want to give things away.

The best Heartland book ever!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Heartland Special Edition: Beyond the Horizon (Paperback)
This books is my favorite Heartland book. Granted, I haven't read all the books, but this is a truly super book! Amy comes back from college over spring break and meets a giant challenge. She ends up passing it, and realizes lots have changed. I'm not saying something big will change, but she does accept more change. When will there be another special edition?? (Hint, hint, Lauren Brooke!)
