Heart's Choice,

I'm enjoying this series and thought that Celeste O. Norfleet's contribution was entertaining. I enjoyed the tension between Devon and Jazzelle. Loved the Sag Harbor backdrop. I was a little fuzzy throught the story about what happened to her brother (beside the fact that he committed suicide.)I would have liked to have read more about him. I thought her "love scenes" were good. What drove me and a few of the other people I've talked to a little nuts is the stage directions at the start of each new chapter. I understood the significance, I just found it a little annoying - after a couple of chapters I wasn't bothered by them because I intentionally stopped reading them. All in all a satisfying read.

I'm giving this book 3 stars because of how much I have enjoyed reading Celeste Norfleets books in the past. After reading the first book in this series I waited on bated breath for the next installment to arrive, it definitely was not what I expected or worth the wait.
First it drove me crazy with all the exterior, interior stage directions at the beginning of every chapter, I understand she's an actress but do we have to know where the scene is? Inside or out if they are in a room they are in, on the beach or at a store out no direction needed. The characters were so not in tune with each other they fell in love how? They hardly spent any time together and that time that was spent was either evaluating or accusing or speculating what was in the other past. Insecurity I can deal with but I just can't explain what was up with these two. Their dreams were more exciting then the actual love scenes that were pertrade. Adrianne Bryd set the bar so high with the first book, It was a tough act to follow but this book to me wasn't even in the neighborhood. I hope that the last installment brings some redemption to the series because this in my opinion was a big disappointment. That being said I still love Celeste Norfleet just not Heart's Choice.

Pretty good story, I've all of them in this series. Some parts were a little slow, but overall a great book.

One of the books in the Match Made series, I liked the book, but I didn't love it. I didn't fall in love with the hero and heroine because they were a tad bit on on self-consumed for my taste. Maybe that was the point. Still, I liked the book, but I didn't love it like I did the other books in the Match Made series.

I like this book; it is the second in the "A Match Made Novel" series. I was confused as to exactly what happen to the heroine Jazz's half-brother. I got that he committed suicide but what actually happen is still a little fuzz for me. I like how Devon Hayes the superstar quarterback and Jazelle Richardson the famous star of stage, screen and music, tried to show how even though they are in the spotlight they are really just normal people at heart with their own problems and losses, it just goes to show that just being rich and famous does not stop you from having those things. Sometimes it is hard to remember that beyond the celebrity and fame are real people just trying to live their lives. I like also how this book set up the last book in this series by asking the question of a love match for the matchmaker Melanie herself. I just wish there was a continuation for the rest of the members of the matchmaking service. It does seem kind of strange to have successful matchmakers who themselves are not matched
