Every one of Gary's cd's are wonderful. I have all of them and listen to them frequently. They are among my favorites and I have at least 200 or more cd's. His music is romantic, with a lot of feeling and heart. . I think Gary is very talented and gifted. It would be difficult to pick just one.

Gary schnitzer is a consumate violinist and music arranger. The songs on Heart's Desire are bright, upbeat and passionately evocative. Schnitzer's violin becomes a beautiful voice, sometimes crisp and lively, sometimes filled with profound yearning, always right for the moment. This music endures, it uplifts the spirit and never grows old.

While I love all of Gary's work (and I must say he continues to out-do himself), I think Heart's Desire may be my favorite. His violin playing is remarkable, displaying technical perfection, and he plays with such passion that the listener can't help but get pulled right into the music. Many selections on this particular CD have a longing or wistfulness to them that makes you want to snuggle up with your sweetie for an entire evening or Sunday afternoon. Beautiful piece of work!!

Gary Schnitzer's 'Heart's Desire's CD is the favorite in my collection of what some call 'easy listening.' The arrangements of 'Unchained Melody' and 'Smoke Gets in your Eyes (boudoir version) are worth the price of the CD in themselves; however, all the songs are beautiful. I love to turn out the lights, have a nice glass of wine, put the CD on and just relax and let the music flow around me and through me, but it is also nice to hear when there is a 'special someone' nearby. It is a 'touch of classical' and a 'touch of love' combination that cannot be duplicated elsewhere. Gary Schnitzer is a gifted violinist, and this CD shows his talents well. I honestly could spend all day listening to this CD. It lifts my spirits!
