Very good ending to a series. The characters were interesting and kept your attention. Told the story of sorts to why Melanie had a wall around her heart and chose to make other's fall in love through her Platinum Society rather than herself. That is until Claude Montgomery came into the picture and reminded her that she is still a woman wall or not.
I enjoyed the tit for tat between Rafe and Claude even though it was not so noticable all the time. All in all a good read and a page turner that will keep your attention, so come on into the wonderful world of the Platinum Society and enjoy.

I really enjoyed the Platinum Society Series and I think it was a great choice to have Donna close it out. I often wondered about Melanie from the beginning and now my questions are answered. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Melanie and Claude. I kinda wished that the nieces could have found matches too if only just to continue the series. Good job.

eh... just ok,

I didn't love this book and I will tell you why... the main characters were grown but didn't seem to have it together. For all their life experience, they were more jittery and child like then I was as a teenager. I had such high hopes. When you enter a certain age and you are ready for a relationship, you know what you want and you go after it. You don't spy on people and you just come out and say what you mean and do what you set out to do. Its ridiculous for them to act so skittish and unprepared. I felt 'unfulfilled' when they finally did get together. You be the judge.

I really loved this book. I loved the entire series. I wish we could get a new series with the cousins and her brother, but I'll take what I can get. I loved that she had two men fighting for her attention and the slight misunderstanding that two of the characters had about what they thought they saw. Don't believe everything you see. I also appreciated the love that she had for her brother during his problems and her love for her deceased husband. Even though she was sort of a main character in each book, you can actually read them independently of each other, but why would you do that. Get all three.

RATING 4.5
The third installment is the "The Match Made Series" what a way to end the series I have so enjoyed reading this series and I couldn't wait to see when and how Melanie was going to fall in love since all of her life she had been putting couple together. The PLATINUM SOCIETY has finally paid off for Melanie Harte. Melanie had been matching couple together every since her Grandmother & Mother had pass the down to here, Melanie and her nieces and nephew has been successful in match lasting couple together. For Melanie this was more that just a job it was a way to pack away the pain of losing her husband.....oh by the way there is a little twist that Donna threw in. You have to read the book to find out what it is. Needless to say Melanie thought love was not in the card for her until she met Claude Montgomery. Meeting Claude just that first time has feeling stir in Melanie that she thought had died with her husband but little did she know? Melanie met Claude through her brother Alan. Alan introduced them because Claude would become a client of Platinum Society and Melanie doesn't mix business with pleasure or so she thought. Claude was taking the first time they met and although Claude work all of the time and only dating casual nothing serious. Clause was at that point in his life where he was looking for that special person to become serious with he was tired of coming home to an empty house, since he was an only child he missed not having any sibling. Melanie & Claude both was fighting the attraction in there own way but in the end the attraction won and they act on there feeling but like anything there is always something just waiting to happen, but no this it all works out in the end. This was the perfect book to round out the series and if you haven't read the other books "Heart's Secret" by Adrianne Byrd, "Heart's Choice" by Celeste Norfleet. You will not be disappointed by any of these books. Smooches Louise

Heart's Reward,
This review is from: Heart's Reward (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I liked the story. I thought it was an enjoyable read. I didn't like how Vincent's wife was almost non-existent. I mean, we know her name is Cherise, but for the story to be about hooking people up, he needed to know how to spend some time with his wife. When they all went out of town she didn't go and she wasn't even mentioned. I liked Rafe. He was funny. I felt bad for Claude when Alan revealed his past. Also the pain that Melanie must have gone through. All in all it was enjoyable. Not one of my favorites but good.

No Reward,
This review is from: Heart's Reward (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I did not like this book at all. I had it for over a month and just finishing it. The characters are so fiction. Melanie seems like a real spoiled brat and very inmature. Claude was like a teenager with his first crush spying on people and hiding in the parking lot. Melanie was always referring to her nephew and neices as the chrildren and treated them as such even though they were grown. Alan the brother no one seem to know anything about him but they all loved him to death. They didn't even know where he lived. Vincent was married but spent all his time with his family his wife was all but forgot about. They went out of town and no one even mentioned her. Once the author even changed the name of the character she went from being Veronica to Victoria.
There was no safe sex practice in this book even though Melanie's husband died of AIDS and the blurb that was done on that was truly distrubing. This book was poorly written quanity is not always best but quality and this was not quality. The author spent too much time developing the material things instead of the characters.

I loved the entire series. The books offered three very strong writers and not a dull story to be had in the trio. "Heart's Secret" & "Heart's Choice" were both fantastic reads. Once one book ended I couldn't wait to go on to the next story. In "Heart's Reward", Donna Hill definitely did not disappoint in bringing Melanie Harte's story to life. I just wish the series didn't have to end.
