Excellent Read!!!,

This review is from: Heart's Secret (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book. Jaxon and Zora were the perfect match, the dialogue between them was hilarious. Their first official date had me laughing so hard I had to put the book down to wipe my eyes. Kwan definitely should not have been a chauffeur. I glad the drama with Richard Meyers was dealt with early. It was obvious that Jaxon was Richard's Achilles hill, but he truly went too far.
It was also obvious that Carlton Landon (Jaxon's grandfather) was a white man, and Jaxon's father (Carlton Jr) married a woman from Africa, but I could figure out his grandmother's race (not that it mattered). I kept wondering if the were the original inter-racial couple. They were definitely a sweet older couple still in love after 60 years (AMAZING!!!) There are two other books in this series, but the authors truly have their work cut out for them, because this book is a hard act to follow. As always Adrianne Byrd knock it out of the park with this story. She truly is gifted writer. I really hated for Jaxon and Zora's story to end and when I got to the end I was like "Dang I can't believe I finished it already". Oh well I just have to read it again in a couple months.

Heart's Secret: A Match Made? Most Definitely,
By
This review is from: Heart's Secret (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Wall Street meets Glamour & Beauty, a match made in sizzling hot chemistry! This is the first installment of the Match Made Series and I must say it started off with a BANG!!! Jaxon Landon met his match and soul mate in Zora Campbell and from there it was a beautiful and funny journey to his falling hard for her. From this couple's initial encounter the chemistry jumped off the pages. It was explosive and they both knew in their hearts they had found the ONE. Ms. Byrd has always done an amazing job in displaying the characters innermost feelings and their "Ah Ha" moments when they realize they are in love and will do what it takes to keep that person in their life. I especially loved how Ms. Byrd allowed Jaxon to express his emotions and did not feel he was less of a man for expressing them. This was a funny story and some blazing hot scenes. I especially loved the first date and the scene in the bushes, Hilarious!!!! This one is a keeper to read over again and again.

This book was great as only Adrianne can do. Get the book and the series . Adrianne consistently brings her A-game to the table. Just done reading the 2nd installment and Celeste brought hers too. Now I can't wait for Donna to bring up the rear. Great writing!

As usual Ms. Byrd starts this Match Made Miniseries off with a BIG bang...the relationship between Jaxon and Zora is OFF-THE-CHARTS, hot & spicy (have plenty ice water or even better a man handy...lol)...once AGAIN she'll have you LOL at their antics throughout...Ms. Byrd crafts some LIVELY characters...some WITTY dialogue...and an ENTERTAINING storyline that will keep you turning the pages to see if Jaxon and Zora are definitely a Match Made in heaven...a sexy, yet HEARTWARMING romantic treat...I sure HOPE the rest of the series is as ENGAGING.

I can't say enough how much I loved this book. The interactions between the characters Jaxon and Zora are funny as hell, and the sex scene are so steamy you almost need a cold shower. Ms Byrd has found a life long fan in me.

This book was absolutely wonderful. Captivating from beginning to end. It was so well written that after having purchased nearly 100 books in 6 months, I was compelled to write a review for the first time. When the two main characters finally get together..WOW! Their journey to become a couple is quite the roller coaster ride and when his poor grandmother's plot is outted talk about devastation. Riveting book. Definitely one of Adrianne Byrd's best works!

Ms. Byrd has delivered the hottest romance with Heart's Secret. When Jaxon Landon lays eyes on the supermodel for the first time he was a gone- and that was just looking at her legs. When Zora Campbell first see Jaxon she's done. These two are the perfect couple. Jaxon is so taken with Zora and has no problem voicing his feelings. Zora has the funniest "REAL TALKS" with herself about this faster than lightning and hot as the sun relationship she finds herself in. The supporting characters are hilarious and are people you know in your real life. This story has lots of laughter (the first date will have you gasping for air and in tears-hilarious),true love, the HOTTEST sex ever, jealousy gone brutal, and forgiveness. Ms. Byrd as usual tells a story that is human, funny, serious, very, very sexy and a once in a lifetime love. This is a must have for your Romance Collection. It's teetering on the Urban Fiction side with the dirty talking-but it's that GOOD dirty talk...but the story is so good whomever reads it will enjoy it.

This guy really brought the drama,
By
This review is from: Heart's Secret (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
I gave this book 4 stars because, I hate the way this book seem to be putting the drama on Zora's plate instead of Jaxon. He was way to conceited and he's the one who brought the drama. 1st of all I have to give Zora her props on trying to stay away from a supposed engaged man. Jaxon comes on to Zora but is caught with the stripper Kitty. Yeah he show didn't fight to hard to get away from her. :) Not that many guys would. Then he tests her by pulling some dating trick on her. This was supposed to be there first date. I'm sorry if any many had done that to me I would have dumped his butt. He let her walk in some high heels, pee in some bushes, and scared the crap out her. All to see if she was high maintenance. Who does that!
