24-pack Heat Packs At the beginning of each ski season I buy a box of Heat Factory hand warmers. Purchasing this way is much more economical than buying individual packages on the mountain. When we have guests, they can take a pair with them, since they often come unprepared. I use mine with Swany toaster mittens that have a pocket to hold the hand warmer between the glove insert and the mitten. You can then curl your fingers around the packet for greater warmth. Of the different brands I have tried over the years, Heat Factory seems to hold heat the longest and also does not "leak" the granules out of the package. I have had good luck carrying over any unused hand warmers from one season to the next.
