Book Description

Book one in the Coded for Love series.

A lead byline and a cover story—that’s what journalist Loren Stanton wants most. Until she meets genetically enhanced soldier Adam Blacker. Team leader of a top-secret covert ops group, Adam never wanted to search for his genetic match, but whenever he gets close to Loren, things turn hot quickly, making him forget every reason he had for retaining his bachelor status. After a scorching night together, neither doubts they’re connected at a DNA-deep level, although both fear the high stakes of what it means to be together.

Loren gives Adam two weeks to prove he’s bred for more than war. He must convince her that he’s also coded for love.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"I would classify the book as a cross between Feehan's Ghost Hunter series or Leigh's Breed series and since both series are crack for me this book was right up my alley too." -FictionVixen

"There is plenty of action, both sexual and non-sexual, keeping your interest and moving the story forward at a perfect pace." --Night Owl Reviews

"HEATED MATCH was nothing like what I thought I'd be reading when I decided to get this book, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed!" The Romance Reviews

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Read! January 28, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I am not the type of person who typically writes reviews. But I enjoyed Heated Match so much that I had to write a review for it. I could not put it down. This book had it all: love, passion, intrigue, mystery. The love story was H-O-T and the idea of a secret military compound of genetically altered solders was interesting and topical. Literally the minute I finished reading this book I went and downloaded the second story in the Coded for Love series. I highly recommend this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome new series! December 5, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved the way Lynne Silver made science and genetics so sexy and dangerous! Books where the hero and heroine have to fight, bump heads, escape evil, and then deal with the fallout are some of my favorites and I got all that in Heated Match with Adam and Loren. Definitely recommend it. And I was thrilled to find out this is only book one in a new series! As I was reading, I kept thinking to myself how wonderful it would be if several of the other genetically enhanced soldiers had their own story! Now I have something to look forward to!

5.0 out of 5 stars Review: Heated Match August 31, 2012
By MamaMia
Format:Kindle Edition
I opened the book and never put it down. It has been four hours since I've had the book in my possession.

What can I say about this book, besides the fact that I have found a new author and new (obsession) series? This book draws you in: begs you to devour it, relax with the characters-stay awhile. These characters, Loren and Adam are, on top of being nuclear hot, sweet and loving. Moreover, this novel speaks of real issues--physical disability and the ever-changing world of science. I loved that it was in a sort of nebulous genre, too. It's not really paranormal, it's not wholly contemporary or fantasy, either. It's in a class of its own, and I loved every single sentence of it.

I cannot (seriously, cannot) wait until the next installments in the series are released.

Go get this book. And watch out for other titles by this author, too, because Lynne Silver is an author to watch, and surely will not disappoint!

More About the Author

By day, Lynne lives the suburban soccer mom life; volunteering with the PTA, doing laundry and working. By night she enters the sensuous world of alpha males and passionate heroines.

She lives in an old fixer-upper with her husband and their two sons. When not writing romance, she reads it. Lots of it. Over and over and over again, preferably with a bag of M&Ms in hand.
