This excels over regular coach lights with a couple of features that one used to have to employ separate timer and motion devices to get right. The settings are right on the device - small switches that can be accessed easily.
First for motion its dual bright feature - means if a 40 watt bulb is in it - it dims to say 20 watts until one walks up on it - triggering the Motion detector. Works well. Its like a combination of landscaping light and Motion trigger in one.
The 3 or 5 hour timer after dusk - is much better than the dusk to dawn feature in other lights. Who needs the light to be on at 5am? This light is off by 10pm with its feature of dusk plus 3.
The only negative is it will only take incandescent bulbs. But cfl and led bulbs have their own issues of cost-benefit and appearance for exterior applications - so the fact that it takes only traditional incandescent bulbs is not a nuisance, in reality.

Have had this light up now for some time and am very happy with it. Looks good and works good. Very good product.
