Acacia should be used daily for best results.
Directions: Begin with a low dose (try ½ level teaspoon, twice daily). Add Acacia to an empty cup, then stir with a fork as you add liquid. Let rest for a few seconds and then stir again to completely dissolve. Or, stir Acacia into any moist foods, hot or cold. Gradually increase your daily dose until IBS symptoms stabilize. Diarrhea and spasms should resolve in just a few days, especially as you begin to increase your dose. Constipation, particularly if it has been chronic and severe, may take several weeks, and often requires a gradual increase to the maximum dose of about 4 level tablespoons per day.
