This book explains the basics of heating and cooling very well. Gives a general overview of household projects and steps necessary to complete project. Covers both forced air and hot water heating systems.

This book scratches the surface of heating and cooling. If you're planning on rerunning some ductwork and need a primer on the principles of air movement, look elsewhere. This book tries to cover too much in too little space. If you're just looking for the very basics and maintenance tips, this will do fine, but the serious do it yourselfer might be disappointed.
