As a young girl, Tarin Worthington's heart is forever scarred from watching her mother waste away and die of an illness. Although a beauty born into nobility, she vows to become a physician despite the fact that in the mid 1800's no woman is allowed to attend medical school.

Rafe Sutherland is a handsome ex Texas Ranger with scars of his own, and not just on the inside. When they meet, they are instantly attracted to each other but their individual needs and goals seem to make a relationship between them impossible. Despite all, they fall in love only to have fate force them to decide between duty, love, and even life, itself.

Ms. Greyson evokes a heart rending account of the mid 1800's, both good and bad, and of the struggle Tarin and Rafe go through in hopes of one day having that forever kind of love. This is one story you will not want to put down. Well done, Ms. Greyson!

This is a very awesome story of how love conquers all no matter how different and how difficult two people are. I could not put it down. I would like to see another book about these families.

I found Heaven Scent awesome. Very impressed how she kept me turning the page to see what Tarin & Rafe would do next. They made me laugh yet Tarin never lost sight of her dream & Rafe did everything to help her. I like books that have subplots & tell a story about life & what we can do to achieve our dreams. Ms. Greyson did just that. WELL DONE
