Great Read!!,
This review is from: Heaven Sent (Paperback)
I enjoyed reading Heaven Sent. I could not put it down. I believe it was well written. The only misleading part of the book, was the back cover. It states her name is Eve and she marries Rev. Washington. But, her name is Heaven and she was never mentioned as Eve. Also, she married Deacon Washington and he never became a Rev throughtout the book. A Deacon and a Rev. are two different positions. Other than that, the book was pretty good. I would recommend that you read it.

G.I.S.A - God Is So Amazing,
By
This review is from: Heaven Sent (Paperback)
"Heaven Sent" is a fine inspirational read which chronicles the life of Heaven, who can't seem to keep her life in order due to drug abuse, feelings of desertion and her mother's mental illness. I feel the book precisely describes how desperation will cause an individual to do the unthinkable in order to achieve happiness. I look forward to reading "Drama in the Church" next.

I can't believe this book made it to print! If this can make it anyone can get published!
How do I count the ways? The storyline? The unrealistic plot? I'm a great believer in suspension of disbelief but this book just goes too far! The creamatory??? That was a joke! I'm getting started on my own novel today! Oh, and what about the bio on the back of the book? They called the title character "Eve". There was no "Eve" in the book! And since when is a deacon a reverend? What a joke! I have to admit though, I did finish. I guess you can liken it to a train wreck, you have to look to see what happened.

Heaven in a mess!,
This review is from: Heaven Sent (Paperback)
This book is not your typical Christian Fiction; it is not preachy at all.
This book was soooooo goood that I stayed up to 3:00 a.m. finishing it. The only problem with the book is that it is poorly edited; the publisher was definitely asleep on the job. Cover - Heaven had blonde hair and green eyes because her father is white; the cover has a woman with dark brown hair and brown eyes Synopsis - the back lists the lead character as Eve when the character's name was Heaven; the Deacon was a Deacon and not a pastor Editing - I felt like I was grading an essay instead of reading a book; it was full of typos. With all that said, this book is still the 2nd best book I have read this year. This author told a story that had me saying: WTF. You had a woman, 7 months pregnant, shooting up heroin. You had a woman, 7 months pregnant, punching women in the face trying to steal their heroin. You had a woman charging a man with no legs 3100.00 to have sex with him. You had a woman sleeping with 3 different men at the same time, one of them being the deacon of her church. You had a woman spiking her best friend's coffee with heroin. You had a woman going to pharm parties with her children in tow. Heaven was a mess and, if you want to be engrossed in a book, then you need to read HEAVEN SENT!

A very Powerful story!!,

This is the second novel I've read by Dynah Zale and once again I was impressed,This book was so powerful and emmotional and it touched me alot.It was also filled with drama which kept me up reading for hours at a time just so I could know what happened at the end.The only thing that was misleading was the synopsis on the back cover of the book which stated that the main character was named Eve but it really was Heaven,I hope that this has been brought to the author's attention as well.In other words, great book and God Is So Amazing!

Ms. Zale enters the literary scene with a great debut novel.
She stuns us from the first page with the poor portrayal of Heaven as a drug addicted mother and the horrendous repercussions of her antics due to her addiction. Ms. Zale pulls at your pity with the follow-up scenes of Heaven in prison and then we find ourselves at a point where Heaven is given a second chance. She qualifies for early release to a half-way house. This book has alot of depth in the stories that are told by drug addicted mothers and the horrible lives and situations they've lead and put their beautiful, innocent children through. There are some really emotional scenes that will cause the faint hearted to have to take a break from reading. She definitely delivers these awful tales with a gusto and a realism that does indeed pull at your heart as you feel the pain, the cruelty, and the ugliness that the drugs calls the addicts to their weakest point and the suffering others face because of it. Upon Heaven's release, her lying, sneaky, and evil ways comes back full force with her renewed freedom. She plays this role in the church while using her body to manipulate men to obtain her desires. She has a fixation on a widower and assumes this innocent act, despite opposition from his sister, she manages to win his affection and his hand in marriage. "Heaven Sent" is definitely a page turner in which Heaven captivates you with all the sheisty shenanigans she pulls and you're constantly trying to figure out what's her next devious step and what unsuspecting person will suffer the consequences of her treacherous nature. "Heaven Sent" is mos def penned in jest with the title because it is anything but....So jump aboard and journey with Ms. Zale as she takes you on a very eventful and interesting tale of an addicts' life and those that unknowingly travel the road with them. Great job! Keep up the good work!!! The originality is awesome!!

It is difficult to determine what the writer's intention was with this book. I really did not enjoy this book and would not reccommend it, if you feel you must read it please borrow the book or at the very least buy used.
