First, I bought the book Heaven by Randy Alcorn. Our pastor, Max Lucado, (yes, we are blessed to have Max every Sunday morning)did a series of sermons on this subject using Randy's book as a reference. The study guide is excellent, helping me to get the most out of the book with extended thinking questions in a journal format. It also reviews the information in the book which helps me to remember the content. I highly recommend it.

Great companion to the book "Heaven." Answers to probing questions requires deeper thinking and, in the process, your retention increases. Great to buy along with Randy Alcorn's book.

Fabulous book with inlightening insights on Heaven and the reality of finding it here on the New Earth. Gets better with each chapter and I have read through the Bible many times.

We have an eternal destination...heaven or hell...it's our choice. This earthly life is temporary...shouldn't we be thinking about...dreaming about...and studying about our eternal home? This book is an excellent source to get the "thought juices" flowing. Great for individual reading or to use with the study guide for group bible studies. While we might not agree totally with everything in the book...it surely has caused heaven to come into clearer view and caused an excitement about what God has planned for those who call Jesus, Lord! Excellent book!

This is the finest book I have ever read on heaven. It covers every aspect of heaven from the intermediate heaven where those born again go when they die to the New Ressurected Heaven and Earth where we who are born again will spend all of eternity.

Easy to read and understand the descriptions of heaven, and untangles many misconceptions. Great book!

"Heaven" is so jam packed full of scripture that Randy must have spent years on writing this book. I, like most individuals, thought there was little in scripture about heaven. And my idea of what heaven would be like, was simply NOT what scripture tells us it will be. No boring sitting around on clouds strumming harps all day long. It will be so much more! Be ready to be pleasantly surprised by this book. He challenges you to keep him accurate to the scriptures & he is right on. It's an easy read but so full of meaty information you'll need to put it down to digest! You will not be sorry you've read this book and you will actually look forward to eternity!!

This book was a great resource for all of my questions, big and small. It addresses all questions, some serious and some a little silly but I just skipped over the ones that didn't apply to my area of curiosity. Randy Alcorn took all of his answers from scripture, which is what I wanted. He added some of his own opinions but he answered the question based on the Bible and then he would sometimes offer his own thoughts to elaborate on the subject, which was great. I highly recommend this book for anyone who has questions about Heaven now, and after we get there. What a great book!

Randy Alcorn takes the entire Bible and brings out of it a cohesive and inspiring picture of life in heaven.
Rather than "pie in the sky" tacked on when we die, he shows how heaven is an integral part of Biblical
faith. Well written and thought-provoking.

I thought the book was thought provoking. I believe the author did a fine job of illustrating his points with the Bible as his basis. I would highly recommend.
