About five years ago I was blessed to meet Joyce Brown, She had given me her book to read. I was going threw alote at that time I was addicted to drugs, a week after recieving the book I ended up in jail were Joyce Brown visited me. She brought me another book to finish reading I finished the book while in custody I can't tell you the power that book had on my life. I didn't get clean from drugs right away but that book gave me hope I no longer wanted to die. I am 16 month clean and sober and am under going treatment for hepitis c some days are really rough and seem almost unbearable, but I make it threw I believe in the message the book sends and to all those who are having a hard time in life I encourage you to read this book. It has had a life changeing effect on my life.

Brown's book conveys spiritual truth in a simple (but not simplistic) manner. Perhaps theoutstanding feature of this book is not so much that it tells youentirely "new revelations", but rather that it infuses that whichyou have heard before with a spiritual sense of truth--a certain inspiration. Particularly recommended for those feeling depressed.

This is one of those books that you must have around at all times just in case there is someone in your life who is seriously depressed. I have lent my copy so many times the cover is coming off. I finally met Joyce and she is the real "article". She has shaped my own writings on the life of Jesus. If you love people, don't be caught without a copy at your finger tips at that moment of crisis. I lost over ten friends to suicide. The suicides had stopped. I gift them the present of Joyce Brown. Glenn Kimball "Hidden Stories of the Childhood of Jesus".

I read it in one sitting, crying half the time, laughing the other half. It really made me think about life and death, and not trying suicide, as it would really be the wrong answer. If you're considering suicide, this book is a "must read"!!

This is the most important book I have ever read. I have read everything I could find on the topic of near-death experiences for the last 32 years. This topic of what happens on the other side of our existence, it very important, comforting, uplifting and interesting. It also gives one knowledge of what is ahead. This books has all the answers to all the questions anyone will ever ask about what happens when one passes over to the other side of existence. It is all here in one book. I truly wish I would have had this book thirty years ago. I am purchasing at this time copies for my husband and all my children. The information contained in this book really gives the answer to the reason we are alive and here in this place. It tells us what the consquences of our actions do, what we should be thinking about and how we should live our lives every day. I recommend that this be required reading for everyone!

This is a book that is saving people's lives. I give high praise to Joyce Brown for being willing to share these private personal experiences so that others may find joy in living. I recommend this book to anyone struggling with finding meaning in life, and especially to those contemplating suicide. It can help. It can send you to your knees to give prayers of gratitude for being able to live in this beautiful world.

What can I say about this book that wouldn't sound like I was being paid to say it????? I am not, for the record.

Years ago, my sister committed suicide. That impacted me for years after until I myself found life too difficult to bear. I knew that suicide was wrong, so I resorted to praying for death instead. This went on for years until one day Joyce Brown's book appeared on the cover of my bookstore magazine catalog with the caption: (sort of) "Woman prays to die, and her prayer is granted." Instantly, I was mad mine hadn't been and I wanted to know why. I sent off for the book and read it thoroughly. It completely and forever changed the way I looked at life by showing me why suicide and praying to die was wrong. She does it in such a loving way, that you come away from the book feeling very special and "known", like you are not alone after all. It is amazing.

Since that time, I have read the book about 5 times more, and I can not tell you how many people I have lent it to, to read. I know for a fact, it saved my life and at least one of the person's I lent it to, it saved the person they were trying to help.

If you know ANYONE who is unhappy with life, and contemplating suicide, OR you are a victim of someone who has committed suicide, this book is one of the best books you can read to get a clear understanding about the meaning of life and our place in it. Why we go through what we go through and how we can get out of the "stinking thinking" down the drain mode.

Finally, I wrote Joyce Brown about my story. I was surprised, when a few weeks later, my phone rang and she was on the other end of the line. She spent about 45 minutes with me. She is one amazing woman. 14 years later I still thank God she wrote that book!

This book give a good insight to the next world and how it relates to this one.

This book is one of the better guides for life anyone can read. It gives many truths which are not always easy, but are needed in our troubled world. It explains why suicide is not the answer, then goes on to tell how to find happiness and live a productive life. The concept of mercy, and why it is important to treat others with kindness is covered in detail. I bought the book to help a suicidal loved one. In the end it is I who have benefited from it's pages. You too will benefit from the concepts presented in this volume.

_Heavenly Answers_ is unique among NDE books because Ms. Brown willed herself to die instead of fighting a debilitating illness. In effect, she suicided. As a result, during her NDE she experienced that light and incredible love other NDE'ers have described, but also experienced awful regret and seering anguish for giving up on life. She saw scenes of others who had suicided successfully and the terrible price they pay for it. She also shares many things she learned about living life to the max, how to live happily while here, and how to be ready to go when one's time comes.

Her message is one of love, and joy, and the eternal importance of living life to the fullest. It's a testament to the reality of miracles, and that suicide is NOT the answer to problems and pain. It shares the Truth that God loves every single one of us, wherever we are, and whoever we are, no matter what. She tells us as one who knows that God's unconditional love is REAL. She knows, because she's been there!

Anyone considering suicide, or wishing they didn't have to keep on living, *needs* to read this book.

It is so amazing, and can change lives. I highly recommend it. It's definitely a keeper.
