A great intro to Billy's poetry & blues, June 17, 2007

Billy Childish has been playing the blues for decades. I'd be willing to bet the Black Keys have been influenced by him, and it's no secret that the White Stripes are (although that's probably still a sore subject with Jack). Billy will be making his southeastern US debut on Aug 31, 2007 at the AJC Decatur Book Festival in conjunction with Vinson Gallery, who are having a show of his paintings and prints. Check it out.
