This books sits on my shelf as a constance reminder of the one I lost. But also as a tool to help my children deal with their grief, as they grow and learn to explore their own feelings.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Book, August 3, 2000
This review is from: Heaven's Not a Crying Place: Teaching Your Child about Funerals, Death, and the Life Beyond (Paperback)
My family adopted a girl from our church whose mom died in a car accident with her in the car.

The little girl was having a hard time dealing with the fact that she was alone. This book really helped her deal. I am glad that this book was written.

Keep up the good work Joey O'Connor
