3.0 out of 5 stars So close to being excellent...
Bizzy Bone's debut solo album was released in 1998. If you can flash back that far, you'll recall that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was at the height of their 90s popularity, and a Bizzy or any Bone solo project would be highly anticipated. Never again in his solo career would Bizzy have as large a budget for an album or a major record contract. So this album should have a lot of...

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite possibly my favorite Bone solo....., February 25, 2000
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
This cd is VERY under appreceiated. Had it not been cut short, it woulda been a classic. Bizzy's album is the most personal Bone album yet, and he had alot of stuff to get off his chest for this cd. "Thugs Cry" describes life at his record label (which hes been fueding with), and the video portrays him as a convict in prison (the prison representing his label). Songs like March On Washington and Yes Yes Yall were nice but tragically cut short. The album concept, which describes of how we are being watched by God (thus the title of Heavenz Movie) is one of my favorite concepts that Bone has come up with. Menensky Mobbin tells about racial issues, and Waitin 4 Warefare, (an Art Of War type song) describes being mentally superior to your opposition. For slow jam fans, yall will LOVE On The Freeway. Its almost a love song, nicely constructed. Demons Surround Me is the troubles and anger built up inside Bizzy. His flow in this song is BEAUTIFUL, at its finest, fast, but yet clear. Then there is Nobody Can Stop Me, telling the story of his tragic child hood, and how he and his mother were living under the hands of an abusive father. He also talks about being a foster child, and he was apparantly molested as a child ("If i told you i was molested would you look at me pale"). A great song, one of the deepest ive ever heard. The Roof Is On Fire is a BANGER', and a nice song to get high to. My favorite track however, is Social Studies. Its songs like these that make Bizzy (and Bone) so great. It describes the on-going problem of youth bringing guns to school and shooting up their peers. Many of these shooting were blamed on Bone's music, and Bizzy ANGRILY argues this fact in the song. Indeed, Bone's music is meant to have a "real" and positive message in it, and they took it the wrong way. It isnt Bone's fault for these shootings, its the youth's fault for not using their brains. Anyways, a great album, one which as grown on me to become one of my favorites. Buy it now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bone sits on the thrown always & forever, January 19, 2000
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
I can't stand it when people dis Bone's style. They are the most creative rap group and the deepest rap group. If you can't feel them, I don't know how you can feel at all. This album stands out from any other rap album. Bizzy's voice is tha bomb, no doubt. "Nobody Can Stop Me" is the best song on the album because it's the realest. His voice is in full effect on the whole album, and he really expresses his mind. Not too many rappers will attempt to really go that deep cause there just not deep. Being from Cleveland I've always felt a strong connection with Bone and can really relate with them, especially Bizzy. Even though some of the songs are cut too short, as long as you luv Bizzy that won't even matter. This is music for the soul. This is real SOUL music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sheer Lyrical Pleasure..., February 17, 2005
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
Delving into the world of Bone Thugs and Harmony has been quite enjoyable. I decided to try out Bizzy Bone's Heaven'z Movie, because I had tried Krayzie and Flesh N Bone, and let me tell you, I am IMPRESSED with Bizzy's lyrical style and flow. Not to mention the music is incredible! "On The Freeway" "Waitin' For Warfare" "When Thugs Cry" are absolutely the best!

It's just amazing how talented these brothas truly are, they are NOT just a passing phase, but something that everyone should Stop, Look and Listen to....

Heaven'z Movie should be in your music collection...

Play it, you'll understand why!

5.0 out of 5 stars God Bless The Child...., June 18, 2002

This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
Bizzy Bone's Heaven's Movie doesn't fall off from the Bone Thug floes he kicked. The album gives more insight on Bizzy the person and what he's about but at the same time explaining his trials his flo didn't fall off. He showed real intelligence not trying to make 4 and 5 minute songs going on and on repeating himself foolishly, he kept the floes tyte, straight to the point, and relatively short. The album only takes up 49 minutes with a couple of 1 verse songs and 2 verse songs respectively. Bizzy did his thing, held his own, and came out with one of the tytest CD's in 98. Every track is worth a listen and can very easily be listened to with skipping tracks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hottest Bone solo Album on da Market~!!, August 10, 2001
By
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
Heaven'z Movie is the hottest solo alubm by Bone. Krayzie Bone had a double disk and a Rap all-star cast, and a bunch of production. Still doesn't compare to Heaven'z Movie. A don't care that half the songs are 1 min. long or something cause they still tight. This is the only album that I can listen to every song. Let's start from the top.

1. Roll Call- It's a nice intro. 2. Thugs Cry- One of the best songs on the album. This is madd hott. 3. Marching to Washington- Wicked 4. Yes Yes Y'all- Now i hate this song for only one reason. And that it wasn't longer. It cuts off Majesty's part. I think this song would of been even tighter if it were like a couple minutes longer. 5. Menensky Mobbin- This was ok. 6. Waitin for Warfare- Capo killed it on this song. Bizzy laid it down. But I was surprised when Capo got on. I didnt know he was that nice of a MC. He need to be on Bone albums. 7. Mr MajestyII- Majesty is ill. If he drops a album, I'm a be the first one to get it. 8. Brain on Drugs- This was coo. I liked it. 9. On the Freeway- This was hott. I loved this track. 10. Demons Surround Me- This had to be my favoire of the album. And to me the best on the album. It had nice sound effects and Bizzy put it down. 11. (The Roof) on fire- This is a nice party joint. Turn dis song up loud and you'll have everybody goin wild. 12. Nobody Can Stop Me- This was emotional. 13. Social Studies- This is madd crazy. Should be the Rodney King ahtem or something.

Overall: If it had more exposure, this would of sold more copies. but i don't care how much it sells, to me it's one of the best albums out today. This is Mos Definently a "MUST GET"~!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bizzy Bone's 2nd Best Solo Album, December 17, 2005
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
This was a tight CD. Other than The Gift this CD is Bizzy's Best. You have to buy this CD because it shows the versatility of Bizzy's rapping and singing. He is very strong in both aspects on this CD. If you already have this CD or are getting it you also need to buy Bizzy Bone's THE GIFT.

AN AWESOME CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tight, Bizzy at his Best, May 6, 2005
By
Troy Jackson "TJ" (Baltimore, Maryland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
Gots to hand it down to Bizzy on this album, he did his thang and once again proved that he's the fastest rapper in his group. Just one problem, some people thing that Bizzy's third album "The Gift" is more better than this one, "The Gift" is also tight but first of all most of the beat on that album dont go with his style nor dont sound as dark, on that album lyrically he over does his singing and dosent rap as fast nor as agreessive as he do on this album, which is the side of Bizzy I like to lesson to. His forth album "Alpha and Omega"dont even compare to either of the two, he may of have brought his agressive side back but lyrically he just sounds like straight up garbage on that album, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Back to the "Heaven'z Movie", every song including the shortcuted ones are off hizzle. Party joints like "Roof Is On Fire" is clean along with "On The Freeway" a slow grove for the ladies. If you want to lesson to some hard and gangsta cuts "Watin For Warfare" an "Social Studios" are the right ones for you, now finally if you want to sit down and chill or even thing "Nobody Can Stop Me" and "Thugz Cry" are clean. The quality of this album is almost perfect. "Yes Yes Yall", "Marshin On Washington", "Roll Call" and a couple others are cutted short but the three I mentioned are off the hizzle. This album is no dout one of the best bone solos and personally I think this is Bizzy's Best lyrically.

I Recommend this album to any true Bone Thug fan, even if your not a Bizzy Bone fan I ask you to check this out, and mark my words, YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Heaven'z Movie" Is A Beautiful Movie To View From Bizzy, July 13, 2003
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
Before his problems with Ruthless, Tomika Wright and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Bizzy Bone was at the top of his game being the lyrical genius behind the classic "East 1999 Eternal". During 1998, Bizzy decided to go solo to see what success he would have. In October of that year, he released, "Heaven'z Movie". As I read the reviews, many people unrighteously gave bad reviews due to some of the tracks being cut short so I'm going to give you my honest review.

The first song starts off with "Roll Call" in which Bizzy is introduced into the world of rap solo artist. I was hoping Bizzy rapped over the beat though because the beat is banging. The first single "Thugz Cry" is next in which Bizzy discusses his relationship with his Bone Thugz and Ruthless. "Marchin On Washington" and "Yes Yes Y'all" are two song back-to-back songs that got cut off but from what I heard both are very good especially "Yes Yes Y'all". "Menesky Mobbin" wasn't very good when I first listened to it but it has grown on me a lot. "Waiting 4 Warfare" in my opinion is the best song Bizzy has even made solo wise. The beat of marching soldiers and the strings really enhance the beat and the lyrics are excellent. The late great Capo (RIP) ripped this track completely and Bizzy has amazing with his tounge-twisting fast rhymes. The Mr Majesty solo track is tight but shouldn't have been on the album since it's suppose to be a Bizzy Bone album. Nonetheless, Mr Majesty metaphoric rhyming is exquisite. "Brain On Drugs" is another cut-off song. "On The Freeway" is a slow tempo love track where Bizzy shows his singing talent very well blend with his rapping. "Demons Surround Me" is a piano-looped banger in which Bizzy talks about how his demons come back to haunt him. "(The Roof Is) On Fire" is one of rare party songs by Bizzy which you can say is dedicated to Mary Jane. Next on the album is the very personal and heartfelt "Nobody Can Stop Me" which is a tear-shedding track. Bizzy relives his childhood and the abuse that he had to go through. The album closes off with the angry-raged "Social Studies". The track is where you really get to hear an angry side of Bizzy that no one has really heard. The beat gives you chills all over your body.

Final Review: This album was solid all the way through but just like many people has said about the album, I wish that the three cut-off songs where full length and that would have made this album a hands-on classic. Nice job Bizzy, make sure you get "The Gift" as well. RIP to Adrian Palette (H.I.T.L.A.H. Capo-Confuscious).

4.0 out of 5 stars Another Bone solo, December 18, 2000
By
bigbammer (Bombed Out Bay, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Heaven'z Movie (Audio CD)
after flesh released his solo album a year and a half earlier, bizzy bone released his debut solo album Heaven's Movie, the intro was very tight, no real versus just a little hook that bizzy repeats time and time again, thugz cry is next and is a tight tight song, bizzy displays his talent as a quick paced artist who keeps his verses crystal clear, next is marchin' on washington which is a little skit that doesn't really have a verse except for the last 20 seconds, then comes yes yes y'all which is very short but is very tight, it sounds like the song gets cut off at the end right when majesty was about to start rappin, menensky mobbin' is probably my least favorite track out of all the songs, it's a decent song but it just could've been better, next is the best song on the album, waitin' for warfare with HITLAH Capo Confuscious who delivers 2 tight verses that are deserving of being on this epic track, bizzy straight rips this song, he uses both a slow paced and very fast paced flow on this song, mr. majesty is next and it is a majesty solo, why is a majesty solo on bizzy's album, who knows, it is still a worthy song though, next is a skit brain on drugs on which bizzy just tells of when he started smokin weed, next is on the freeway, a song that you never thought a bone member would do, it's a love song, but not really a cheesy love song, it is a well executed love song where bizzy still does a good job of upholding his thug nature, demons surround me is next and is a short but sweet song, very tight song, the roof is on fire is next and is just bizzy rippin his fastest verses on the album, it's a good song to get down on the dancefloor to, nobody can stop me is a very touching and emotional song where bizzy describes some of his many hardships he has had to endure through his lifetime, social studies tells of bizzy's views of the many school shootings that have gone on recently and how many powerful people tried to blame it on the music, after about a 5 minute break when social studies ends there is a little skit where bizzy bone is a reporter and people are discussing bizzy's album, there isn't really any point to the last skit, but it is just funny to listen to and it ends the album on a more laid back mood
