Another great CD from Lovehammers who are the best band ever to come out of Chicago. From the heavy rock sounds of Loaded and Black Angel, to the smooth, emotional sounds of Heavy Crown and Honest I'll Wait and everything else in between, this CD is a must have for all rock music lovers. Marty Casey's versatile vocal style is mesmerizing. The acoustic versions of Velvet and Eyes Can't See are true, classic Lovehammer songs that are sure to please any music lover. One of the very few CD's you'll own that you'll love EVERY song on it.

I haven't stopped spinning this CD since I got it earlier this week. The world should know Lovehammers. Many will remember lead singer Marty Casey from his run on Rockstar: INXS. He was the runner-up to winner J.D. Fortune. "Guns" is a tribute to the soldiers who fall defending our freedom. The title track, "Heavy Crown", is a real tearjerker - a poetically beautiful song about telling someone it's okay pass on. "Black Angel", "Loaded", and "Neverfall" are strong rockers to contrast the beautiful ballads like "Honest I'll Wait" and "Driving Blind". A special treat are the acoustic versions of two songs from earlier in the Lovehammers cannon - "Velvet" and "Eyes Can't See". This is an awesome album, and it's time that all of America discovers this band. As the fans of the band say, we all need to "spread the LOVE"

The more that I listen to this album, the more that I love it. I was very skeptical of this album after learning that they put it together in such a short time. They really pulled it off! There are so many more layers on this cd than in previous releases. Every song has its own flavor. I even love that little hidden bonus track "Jupiter Bill". Standouts for me are Black Angel and Loaded. Awesome! The Lovehammers have really grown as a band.

I really wish that the Lovehammers had a tenth of the promotional budget that someone like Nickelback had. Then, A LOT more people would be aware of this great band.

It's been a while since they put out a new CD - but it was worth the wait! The Lovehammers have a distinctive sound that is indicative of true rock. Pre-Lovehammers, I don't think I have ever owned a CD where all songs were winners. Years later, I still go to all the Lovehammer's old CDs as first chioces. If you loved all their previous CD's, this one will not disappoint!!!

I dont get it, I thought the hammers were done,with Marty touring and singing those bad La Gun songs.Then Heavy crown comes out. I liked this cd on the first listen,which is rare.This disc is so good,it can be compared to the first two,which is saying alot.Im not going to bother going over the individual tracks, because they are all outstanding.Besides being a dynamic frontman,Marty Casey is a topnotch songwriter,strong lyrics,catchy melodies, and solid ballads.
Bobby ,Dino and Billy are the perfect band for Marty,absolutely rocksolid.I cant wait to hear these new songs performed live.Remember....Defend Chicago!

I haven't been this excited about a band or CD in a long time. Heavy Crown is simply brilliant. Kickass Rock n Roll with a few really beautiful ballads.

Marty's voice is beyond amazing!! I am loving: Loaded, Neverfall, Honest I'll Wait, Heavy Crown & Guns.

Get Hammered!!!! You won't be disappointed!

This is absolutely the best Lovehammers album to date! I haven't been able to stop playing it since I received it. The album covers all the ranges of the bands music and Marty Casey's vocal talents. It's so great to finally have some new stuff from these amazingly talented guys! I think Oh My Baby is my favorite, but you should really buy the album and decide for yourself!!!

This cd will not disappoint people who love rock (like Journey, Fall Out Boy, etc), it has a variety of music from ballad, hard rock, to pop. It is the Lovehammers and if you have any of their previous cds you will absolutely love it. With the variety on this cd there is a lot for new fans to love as well. The singing and music arrangement is so incredible with a great sound to the entire project. If you are familiar with RockStar INXS you will know that the lead singer of Lovehammers, Marty Casey was a fan favorite on the show. Just listen to snipet of each song and you will love this cd.

It feels like forever since the release of their last album after Rockstar INXS ended, but the wait was well worth it. Great album and I love every song on it, which for me is a rare thing. Just buy it, you won't regret it!
