It's purty...and it works like a champ.

You can solder stranded wire into a ring and use it with this terminal, which is what I did since I didn't have a ring or spade handy, but I didn't like it.

The switch is a heavy duty toggle switch, with good build quality.

I bought this switch as a kill switch for led lights I put in my car to ensure a complete power cutoff from the source.

It is very simple, attach the power source to one screw end, and the electronic device to the other screw end. I was lucky enough to have some extra room on my aftermarket cd player assembly in my car, so I didn't have to damage anything in the car to install this switch.

My only gripe about this, as others have stated was the piece of metal that says 'on' and 'off' was bent on arrival on the corners/ends. Wasn't really a problem as far as flattening it out before installation.

If you need an inexpensive on/off switch, this thing does what it made for, and doesn't have one of those annoying LED power indicators either.

The one I received was beat up. The on off plate looked like it had been run over (bent and scratched). I bought it for my DIY immersion circulator, now I have to look at this ugly thing. It works perfect, but come on.

This SPST toggle switch does exactly what you think it will, it turns electricity on and off. The only problem I have with it are the screw terminals. Traditionally, screw terminals are attached to a plate with raised corners, and you bend the wire into a hook shape, the raised corners hold the wire, and the screw traps the wire against the corners to form a cup. This switch skipped that. It is really difficult to use this terminal without a crimp on end. You want to crimp the smallest ring onto your wire, then remove the screws, and stick them through the ring when you reattach them.

And that loses it a star. You can solder stranded wire into a ring and use it with this terminal, which is what I did since I didn't have a ring or spade handy, but I didn't like it.

First of all, I like the product functionality, price, and value. However, when I received my original order, the switch arrived in three pieces, as the plastic housing was broken. I returned to Amazon and received a replacement. This one had both tabs on the faceplace all bent up and turned over. In both cases, the packaging was not damaged, so it is apparent that the faulty switches were shipped in this condition. This company definitely needs to shore up its quality control system and to assure that defective parts are not shipped to the customer.

my only complaint is that the plate was a little bent. but it was easily flattened with a hammer. the switch does take a little bit of forced to turn on off which I didn't expect but works just fine

Solid, quality feel. Heavy-duty operation. And nice looking! With so many cheap and ugly switches on the market, it's good to have one available that you don't have to hide. Vintage look harmonizes nicely on your classic dash or in any other high-visibility spot. I hooked mine up to operate a manual electric helper fan in my '57 Ford, and so far it's served me very well on a 2600-mile round trip into the dessert. Also really good value, at this price point I wasn't sure what I was going to get in terms of quality. I was very pleasantly surprised and would buy again. There's a whole line of these, my only suggestion would be for the manufacturer to offer one that incorporates some kind of illumination without compromising the retro aesthetic. Great product!

The terminals are quite small. Do not expect to use this without putting a ring lug on the wires, a very small ring lug at that. It does work well though. I put it on my small electric wood spliter instead of the momentary push button to keep the electric motor running. This is much better. Not much to say besides that. It seems well built (except for the crazy small screws for the terminals) and it works.

The switch it's self seems to be good, it does however have very stiff movement. The issue that I had with all three of these switches that I ordered was that the faceplates of all 3 were bent and destroyed. I'm not talking about just a slight bend here, I'm talking they look like they all must have been curb stomped on by someone who weighed more than my uncle Bob!
