These tarps are former billboard signs that were used outdoors for only a few weeks. They are made of a 3-ply vinyl material that is built to last for 5+ years outdoors! There are still many years of life left in them, and they are only a fraction of the cost of similar material! There is an advertisement on one side, and the other side is blank white. The tarp material is 100% waterproof and will not tear. Since it is 3-Ply vinyl, it is 20x stronger than the cheaper poly tarps on the market. Applications include: Hay Tarps, Lumber Tarps, Steel Tarps, Marinas, Concrete & Construction Tarps, Shop Curtains, Vapor Barriers, Roof Covers, Dust and Paint containment, Warehouse Dividers, Drop Cloths, Gym Floor Covers, Liners, Pond Liners, Tents, Bags, Movie Screens and Much More!!!! The tarps are in great condition and have very minimal wear, if any, associated with outdoor signage. They have 3-inch channel pockets that run along all four sides of the tarp. The channels allow you to run pipe, cable or rope through them for even distribution. There are small notches every few feet on the channel so you can feed the cable or pipe through. The tarps do not have grommets. However, you can easily add them with a grommet kit from a hardware store. Other ideas are to use Grip Clips or other industrial clips found at a hardware store. We ordered this product for our church to use as a tarp to put down to protect the carpet when we have fellowships that involve food. The product is great because it is so large and covers a lot of area. The product is also very sturdy. I appreciated that there was not an offensive billboard ad on the front side. Even though all you see is the back when on the floor, which is solid white, I was concerned that there would be an ad on the other side that would not be appropriate.

Some of the things that bothered me about the order were that the pictures on Amazon do not seem to be the actual pictures, but rather stock photos. This was misleading in the sense that they looked very clean in the pictures. When we received the product it seems that they were carelessly packed because they were just put in a box without any packing products. The boxes were not sturdy enough to hold the product either, so they were beat up pretty badly. The only other problem we had was that the tarps were also, very, very dirty. We had to take them in the parking lot and scrub them down with soapy water and let them dry before we could use them. This was not just dirt that got on them during the shipping. It looked as if they took the ad off a billboard and simply rolled it up and shipped it instead of cleaning them first. They were also a little wet. I would make sure that the company is going to clean the product and pack it a little more securely. The product itself is great, but more care needs to be taken when shipping.

Purchased this tarp based on the sellers advertisements and the price (which seemed like a good deal). While it is heavy duty, it is a used tarp which was previously a billboard advertisement. Ours came with numerous small holes in it. Also, the advertisement on it is absolutely HUGE, so there is no disguising the ad. If you need a heavy duty, waterproof tarp, don't buy this. But if you need something that will hold up in the wind, it probably would work pretty well. We are in the middle of a very wet and windy winter (Northern California), and so far, it's holding up ok.

The tarp that was sent was folded sloppily and had numerous creases in it. The tarp leaks along these creases where the vinyl has worn away. Don' t buy this tarp if you need it to be waterproof.
