I was cleaning out closets for a big yard sale....and needed a very sturdy clothes rack. All the other racks I purchased at local stores colapsed with just a little over 15lbs. of clothes. I decided to go on the web and see what I could find that was sturdy. Amazon gave be the best prices and quality with very little effort. I decided on the heavy duty Z rack and I am not sorry. It is so sturdy---perfect for my needs. It held well over 150lbs. of clothing.

We use this to hang, wash, dry and store our scuba gear. We roll it outside to wash the gear, leave it hanging while it dries and then easily roll it back in the house for storage. It is so much easier than moving it all piece by piece. It was nice to get our downstairs coat closet back for actually hanging our coats instead of scuba gear. Thinking about buying a cover to put over it to kind of hide the gear. Works very well!

My son moved out a couple of months ago, to his first apartment. There was not enough closet space for his clothing. I purchased at Amazon the heavy duty Z-rack black base, clothing rack. Really didn't know what to expect. Was very pleased!! Would recommend this to anyone needing a clothing rack. Good and sturdy, there wasn't any instructions with it, but was not difficult to put together.

We had a fixed hanging coat rack that blocked our windows this one makes it so more light comes in that room and we can move it wherever we want! Very sturdy and easy to maneuver!

Bought this for my wife to use as a backdrop holder for her photography business. Works much better than the backdrop stands you buy that are designed for photography. They are flimsy, multiple pieces, and don't hold much weight. With this stand, she clips the backdrops on the cross bar at the top and uses the casters just to wheel it in place. And with the weight it holds, she can have multiple backdrops on it at once if need be and just flip to them.

For a clothes rack it will work great, would hold plenty of weight. The only thing you should be careful of is the base is quite wide, you'll need to make sure you have room for the base, both the width and the casters set up high.
