my son is 6'8" and 400+ pounds, his wife is 5' and 120 pounds. they are both very pleased with this seat. it fits in their shower very nicely, but is large enough to be comfortable. it sits solidly, but is not too heavy to move easily. they both highly recommend it.

I bought this for my brother to use after he had surgery. He is a large person so I thought this would work for him. He received it and uses it every day. He thinks this is a great product as it is very sturdy. He uses it in the shower and in front of the mirror for shaving etc.

This bath chair is everything it's supposed to be and more! Sturdy and it comes completely assembled. You can't beat that! And the service was exceptional too, as my family has immediate health concerns!

This is a great bench, and its several benefits are well worth the slightly higher cost than the cheaper, less dependable, benches. It is extremely sturdy, which I needed for the elderly person I bought it for. It just sits there, solid as a rock, but can easily be slid to different positions in the shower. I especially like the fact that it can raised or lowered in height, if necessary. I extremely love the fact that it came fully assembled! I've bought too many--far too many--of those "some assembly required" or "easy to assemble" items. With this one, you just take it right out of the box and use it immediately. Nothing has to be done to it. I've found nothing wrong with it thus far, and would definitely buy another one if I needed it, and highly recommend it to others.

The heavy Duty Bariatric Bench Bath is light weight, but due to stabilizing crossbars is perfect.
I owned the same kind of bench bath without the bars, and in time, the legs splayed and was no
longer satisfactory. I weigh 150# so it wasn't the weight factor.

We needed this item for use after knee replacement surgery. It was needed due to the amount of weight it would hold. Our other seat was only rated to 250 lbs. But this bench was to short even being extended to its full height. It was shorter by 1inch than the other seat we owned. There was no way for a person with knee surgery to get up from this seat.

Just what was needed. Removed it from the box and put it to use. I check around and this one was great for the price. Got it for my neice; she's a big girl. She says it works great. The last one she had began to bend the legs of the bench. This one is light and strong.

The bench came put together. The problem was no instructions on how to raise the bench. Once we figured out that the gray bands with pins were removable and the legs moved, we had the right height. It is very sturdy and I enjoy my showers now without worrying about falling.
