5.0 out of 5 stars Ali , The unofficial leader of the St.Lunatics
An awesome cd Ali should get a whole lot more respect. But some people dislike him just because his not Nelly. This Cd is filled with tight beats and off the beat lyrics a must by for your collection.

Intro-6.7 it shouldn't be there

I Got This-9.2 an awesome beat and lyrics

Crucial-9.5 I like this track because it sends you in a certain mood

Ore Ore O-8.0 I truly...

1.0 out of 5 stars VERY DISAPPOINTING
It seems like everyone is scared to say how bad this album is because they love Nelly. Nelly is good, Ali is bad, very bad. He is okay in the St. Lunatics buy cannot carry a song by himself, and this is terrible!

The St lunatics continue to show why there so great. This cd cntinues the tradition that Free City, Nellyville and Country Grammer have set. If u enjoy these cds definently get this one and if u like this one get the others. A definete must have.

5.0 out of 5 stars ALI IS REPRESENTIN' STL TO THE FULLEST!!!, June 25, 2002

This review is from: Heavy Starch (Audio CD)
ALI, ONE OF THE MEMBERS FROM THE ST LOUIS BASED GROUP THE ST. LUNATICS, IS REALLY SHOWING HIS SKILLS ON HIS DEBUT ALBUM, HEAVY STARCH. TRACKS LIKE "NO" AND "BOUGHETTO", THE ALBUM'S FIRST SINGLE, ARE DOPE. WITH GUEST APPEARANCES BY THE ST. LUNATICS(NELLY, KYJUAN, MURPHY LEE AND ALI). THIS ALBUM REALLY SHOWS WHAT KIND OF MUSIC THE MIDWEST IS COMIN OUT WITH, COMPARED TO THE USUALLY EAST COAST/WEST COAST DOMINATION. WHATEVER YOU GUYS ARE DOING OUT IN STL KEEP IT UP, YOUR ALBUMS ARE OFF THE CHAIN...

4.0 out of 5 stars All songs are solid, May 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Heavy Starch (Audio CD)
first off thebest song is not wiggle wiggle, it sounds good at first but gets old....like nelly's album the whole cd is good, unlike nelly's cd some of the songs don't have the replay value. The best song on the album is SERIOUS, which is a bonus track.....oh and it is 15 min into song 14, so that means all the extra songs are ONE SONG, plus song number 14......but well worth it.....
