Heavyweight Classic Canvas Messenger Bag

Having just gotten an iPad, I needed something to carry it around in without attracting too much attention. And having used a messenger back through my time in boot camp, I decided to go ahead and try my luck at getting one here on Amazon.

Lo and behold, I found this bag.

It's nothing too special, just having a couple pockets on the outer front lining, two slots on either end for a water bottle (or other such items), and a zip up pouch on the inside, but it does the trick just fine.

My only real problem with the bag is that the velcro that's used to secure the flap to the bag itself has a full line going on the flap, but only a few strips along the bag itself. This leads to not getting a good "seal" a lot of the times when you're in a hurry to just grab the bag and go.

Even so, I've got no reason not to recommend this to others.

I received the bag quickly and am very pleased with the quality and size. The only thing missing is a zippered flap...but I knew that when I ordered it. The zippered flap would be a welcome improvement as the items inside would be more secure when travelling.

This bag is great!
It fits so much stuff in there because it has the ability to expand when you unzip the sides and bottom. The straps are also really securely attached, Ive never even heard so much as one thread ripping even though I have two textbooks, a macbook pro, a water bottle, 2 notebooks, and another big book in there whenever I go to school. It has a major compartment, and little bit smaller compartment, a back compartment, a front compartment, and 2 pockets, so youll never run out of room for your stuff. It's really heavy duty, and the color is as shown to me, and it's stylish. I almost gave it a 5 except for one major error in design... I stand about 5'8", and even with the straps set as long as they can go, the bag hits me a little under the middle of my ribcage lol. I dont mind though, because I wear it behind me, so it's at the middle of my back, and most of the time I just sling it over one shoulder anyway because Im in a hurry, so its not THAT big of a deal, but it would be nice if it went lower. But, this is a good bag, despite this...

Just as described. As a caricature artist, I use this to schlep my kit and other supplies. With everything from amusement parks to public gatherings having security perimeters, this tote is nice; no clip or buckles! Velcro closures open quick for a security check and flaps back. Very easy. I will probably get another for leisure; toss in my books, notebook, sketch book, change of clothes and I'm off.
