This book is undoubfully useful for people who wish to reach a basic knowledge of Hebrew. This exercises are good but the stories are even better. The book is definitely motivating. Some words in the stories are not included in the vocabulary, though.

This is a great book to continue learning your Hebrew. It was written in the style of a semester college textbook. You will have learned so much by the time you complete this book!!

Ora Band's Hebrew course Level 3 is a pleasure to use, and it is probably the most suitable Hebrew language learning book for independent learning that I have come across. It explains the grammar lucidly and provides exercises that reinforce this grammar. The texts are printed with nikud (vowel marks) to ensure correct pronunciation, and later printed again without nikud to let the student practice reading.
The book is aimed at students at an intermediate level, with knowledge of the binyanim and experience with the present, past and future tenses. I have not used the previous two volumes, but I am very pleased with Level 3. |
