As a teacher always copying material, I have found Hecho en Tejas to be a godsend. It is now an essential part of my work library, but I also love it for itself. It has to be one of our most important Chicano publications recent or otherwise, a must have if you are a Tejano. A beautiful and invaluable book of short stories, essays, poetry, corridos, and songs that have implications beyond Texas.

This is a book that does what it is suppose to, you learn about Mexican Literature from Authors who are originated or living in Texas.
