Happy Birthday Back to Love Series! Wow nuestra adorada serie Back to Love cumple toda una decada. Y, una vez mas, Hed Kandi se anota otro triunfo. Bravo! Hed Kandi como siempre cumple con cada entrega a sus fans.
Back to Love - The Mix 2008 contiene los mejores dances/house/techno/tribal tracks de los años ochentas y noventas. This album is "house" about 15-20 years ago. I was hoping there would be more of a Hed Kandi spin to it, making the sounds and mix a bit more current. Unfortunately, it was really (for me) a collection of old dance hits that I personally didn't care for (can we please let C&C Music Factory go already?).
The funk mix (cd3) might suit some for a house party for music neophytes (and by house, I mean location, not genre of music). I really couldn't stand the second disc. It was bad R&B sounding vocals shoved together with tragic 90s dance beats. You do get a lot of music for your money, and if you really love the old school dance, then you might love this album. Be warned, however, because it's not all hits on this album. Perhaps if the title had been, "NOW that's what I call music: 90's Dance" I might have given a higher rating. I mean, after reading what the folks at Hed Kandi had to say on the insert inside the album, the album does make sense. I was just hoping for something more unique - classics are great except I already have them and on the cover it mentions "remixes." I was bored - sorry Hed Kandi. |
