Another mixed compilation from Hed Kandi (their third). Songs that are sure to get you moving this Winter! There are three cds, each with a different theme. Disc one is Winter Beach, songs that are sundrenched and will transport you to that warm place known as summer. So really it's the Beach House CD of the collection. Highlights include Bonnie Bailey "Safe", Richard F feat Samantha Stock "Let The Sunshine Thru", Lisa Shaw "Let It Ride" and more.

Disc two is the Disco Heaven mix. The songs will have you throwing your hands in the air and grooving to the soulful vocals and beats. Highlights include a nice cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Everywhere" served up by LnM Projekt feat Bonnie Bailey, Steve Anders Vs. Andrea T. Mendoza on "Can't Fake It", Soul Theory's "Drama", Peyton's "Keep The Faith", and more.

Disc three is the Twisted Disco mix, which has become one of my favorite compilations from the label. The mix is a little dirtier and funkier than the first two discs, making for some really egdy house music! Highlights include Eric Kupper and The Barrow Gang and Bonnie Bailey on "I Want Kandi", Dirty Vegas' "Walk into The Sun", Armand Van Helden "My My My", Breaker J's "Higher STate of Consciousness" and more.

Overall a nice preview of what's to come from Hed Kandi, and fans will definately want to pick this one up!

Believe it, or not, but there was a time when Hed Kandi produced worthwhile, well-mixed compilations! This one is a remnant of one of the last good mixes put together before Ministry of Sound bought them over and turned them into commercial, non-substantial trash. In this mix they have found an ideal equilibrium of 3 different house music styles, suitable for so many different moods. It's a pleasant reminder of how house music ought to be, so look no further if you need a workout mix, cleaning mix, party mix, driving, etc!
