lots more. this is an excellent buy! 3 cd's worth of all your hed kandi dance floor favourites (@pacha) well compiled and seamlessly MIXED! yes, unlike most kandi releases, these cd's are mixed, and divided into 3 categories: beach house, disco heaven, and twisted disco. been listening to these non-stop since i got them last week. it's pure bliss. memories of summer, clubbing, ibiza, etc.etc. essential party music. these'll stay in my stereo through all my xmas/new year parties.

I've had this album for almost 2 years and still cannot stop listening to the beach house set (CD 1). Very sexy vocals, and relaxing soulful beats - great for poolside listening and making a weekend afternoon in the summer into a mini vacation. I give that CD on its own 5 stars.

Disc 2 is OK - I still listen to it occasionally, but use it mostly for pumping me up while I'm working out. Some songs are good (#7) but others are overplayed - e.g. I was never a big fan of Martin Solving and his 'Rockin' Music' in the first place.

Disc 3 I barely ever listen to, and have probably only endured it in it's entirety about 4-5 times. One song sounds like the next and it's basically just boring, unoriginal dark house that I could have done without in the first place, but perhaps it's just personal preference - I'm not a trance or dark house head. 'Back to the island' is my favorite on this CD and earned it the 1 star I would give it.

When I bought this, I had never bought a Hed Kandi release, let alone heard of Hed Kandi. I was browsing at the Virgin Megastore and saw a display and took a chance after seeing a few songs on the back that I had heard of on the dance charts.

But when I brought this home and popped The Disco Heaven CD into my CD player, I fell in love with Kandi forever. Their ability to blend all sorts of genres together, and make them seem as if they came from one source, is supurb. Each track is original, yet fits well with the rest of of the songs on it's CD.

Beach House is a sultry CD that you can fal asleep to, wake up to or take out for a nice jog around the beach or the park. Fade and Back Together are personal favs as both make you long for the lazy days of the summer.

Disco Heaven updates the 70's and brings them into the new millenium with infectious beats and combines it with today's modern house and it's memorable rythyms. The Pique & Nique remix of Crazy Talk is in contention for my favourite song this year.

Twisted Disco takes it to the next level and brings hardcore beats into the club and turns disco into rave music. Although it's my least favourite of the 3 discs, it has some killer tracks in Stand Up and Falling Star.

I'm not a club freak, but this compilation makes me REALLY wanna go to Ibiza, or any club that Hed Kandi is playing at.

i bought this compilation of 3 cd's quite a few years ago...
and, i must say that i definitely got my money's worth...
i still even listen to the loungier (made that word up) 1st cd...
however, i may have outgrown the second couple...too many listens...
(and my taste may have evolved a bit in the house department)
but if you are looking for a consistent rhythm and sound that has some catchy tunes that were catchy five years ago, then it may be for you.
i won't knock them, since i've listened to them enough for the box to fall apart and the cd's to be nearly inaudible...
(that's where the ipod comes in)

bottom line: great for what it was...and when it was...

This was my first purchase from the Hed Kandi collection and I must say, I immediately fell in love. The first cd, Beach House, is the best, for Late Night Alumni is simply amazing. "Ever After" by R.S. Faber; "Put 'Em High" by Stonebridge; "Dancin" [2003 Remix] by Jessica Eve, Erick "More" Morillo, Jose Nunez, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero and "Stand Up" [Gambafreaks vs. Andrea T. Mendoza Mix] by Pussy Dub Foundation are sweet club beats you'll want to play over and over again. This truly is a must have for anyone with an appreciation for a sweet taste of kandi!

Excellent collection of the best music out there! Whether you like the club scene, or not, this collections by Hed Kandi are the best.

My sister introduced this 3CD collection. A beautiful collection to play in the background while you're chilling at home.

I have only good things to say about that cd.I enjoy listening house deep mousic and I think that it worths its money. Its the same time relaxing and gives you the ups to think positively. All these christmass days I listen this cd either to my car loundly or to my home. I have already bought a stereo sushi collection (Vol 1) which I find very nice so my second buy should be a Hed Kandi collection

Hed Kandi is all about fun and dance to your favourite songs. I'm so glad that I bought this album and all the others I have now 10 Hed Kandi cds. Buy this and have fun folks.

Hed Kandi has always for me anyway had that special place in my heart. The package and the cute girls on the front. The music is always 100% fun in the sun disco music. I have 10 albums with them now started collecting last summer. This 3-disc set is amazing with lots of diffrent styles and some very good remixes on it. Whenever I feel down I put any of these 10 cds on and that makes me smile and start my unofficial Hed Kandi dance, silly yes but a big Hed Kandi fan I am. I hope they will always bring the best in disco music and never ever stop. Buy this now and don't wait on it folks. This is pure 100% fun n love disco music to listen to again and again, and again.
