This is the first time I have been tricked into buying a book that was completely not worth it. I don't trust reviews on Amazon, but thought that I had found a legitimate source recommending this. Turns out these guys are just great marketers (the "legitimate source" was probably an associate of the author - I usually detect this sort of garbage but didn't this time around) because this was absolutely not worth it. This book SEVERELY lacks any detail. Look at the reviews for the 3rd edition of this book. Another guy gave this a one star and I wish I had read his review before I wasted my money here.

This "book" is less than 90 pages long, with some 20 pages of bogus resumes they put in there. The content is very superficial. If you have done ANY research on hedge funds, you will know all of the material in this book. There is nothing new!

Furthermore, the "interview" help is some garbage your friends with any interview experience would know.

Hedge Fund careers??! There is one paragraph about developing your hedge fund career. Actually, what it says is that there is no structure to developing your career - super helpful.

DONT BUY THIS - ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. I would have paid maybe $10 over Paypal to get this in pdf form.

I found the Hedge Me book to be extremely useful during my recent job search. Whether you are just getting started in a hedge fund career or have some experience, there is a lot of very useful information consolidated in one great source. I found the interview tips, compensation review, and the list of hedge fund recruiters to be particularly helpful.
