Hee Haw is back Yeah. I grew up watching Hee Haw before I really liked country music. I watched it for the great actors on the show and the comedy. I really learned to love country music from watching Hee Haw. The salute to Hee Haw is awesome. The have some of the best moments from the early years on Hee Haw. Hee Haw was on CBS for a few years, until CBS decided to cancel all of it's shows with "trees" in them. They canned Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, and the Beverly Hillbillies. Hee Haw went into syndication and thrived lasting over 20 years. Check out the interviews on the last disc. There are wonderful interviews with Roy Clark, Ronnie Stoneman, Lulu Roman, Hager twins, and George Lindsay. Watching these DVD's makes m want to order more in the Hee Haw series. I wish there was something like Hee Haw on TV today.

This DVD set is a must for those who remember this series. Pictures are sharp and clear and the sound is great. Time-Life has included shows with some of the best stars. It's like stepping back in time to when TV was younger and more innocent. To see Tanya, Loretta, Merle...all in their prime...was really a treat. Keep the volumes coming!

This was bought as a gift for my 86 yr old Dad and he LOVES it. Brought back a lot of memories for him. He loved watching this show, as I did. He thought he'd never see those old shows he loved back then again. What a surprise it was for him at Christmas!!

to me. Hee Haw is no different than Laugh-In which had some some pretty bad jokes. At least on Hee Haw you had some damn fine music. I too was raised on Hee Haw and classic country, which I consider to be heads and shoulders better than that crap that passes for country today. You couldnt do Hee Haw today with all the agents etc. So these are gems, gems I tell yo..Anybody who doesnt like Hee Haw but loves Laugh-In I loses all credibility with me

My dad has advanced dementia and can no longer read or follow TV programs. It's winter time and all he has to do is sit in front of the fireplace and sleep. We are always trying to find things / tasks of interest to keep him busy for at least small amounts of time during the day. One day I thought about Hee Haw and ordered this set from Amazon. I will never forget the look on his face when he saw Roy Clark open the show and a very young Dottie West start singing. It was like seeing old friends and much to my surprise he knows who everyone is on the show. If he misses the punchline in a joke he can catch the next one because it moves fast. And he DOES get most of the jokes. As the caregiver my mom is overjoyed to have something that my dad enjoys and will give her a break.

Just something to consider for others who are going through the same thing with a dad that LOVED watching Hee Haw every Saturday night for years and years.

We bought this as a gift for my father-in law, who has had a stroke. He was hard to buy for. We thought this was the perfect gift for him. We watched it right after we gave it to him. We enjoyed it very much. It brought back memories of my childhood, watching this with my dad. The number of episodes made it worth the money. We watched it for hours.

The hee haw collection is very funny. The kornfield county jokes are a little lame. What really makes this collection is the stars who perform. The songs are great and audio is very clear. Definitely recommend this for any country music fan. Fun for all.

This was a funny and family show. Did not need to worry if kids watch it. Great country music and comedy.

If your a lover of Hee Haw and laughter, you will enjoy. Even people who didn't grow up with Hee Haw enjoy it immensely. Grandpa Jones, Minny Pearl, Buck Owens, the corn patch, all the characters of Hee Haw just keep you going, and the guest stars are all great. This is good for young and old. Finally a program the family can sit around and laugh and enjoy, from any age. Just pop some popcorn and young and old sit down and enjoy.
