5.0 out of 5 stars Many reasons to like Easy Flaps
I have tried regular kitchen trash bags, bags with handles, drawstring bags and Hefty Easy Flaps. I like the Easy Flaps best.

EASY TO CLOSE

This is their selling point and they win. Twist ties are difficult to use if the bags are very full. They also do not have any handles to grip and carry.

Drawstring handles can be too long...

5.0 out of 5 stars Many reasons to like Easy Flaps, December 17, 2009
This review is from: Hefty EZ Flaps Tall, 13 Gallon Kitchen Bags, 80 Count Boxes (Pack of 6) (Health and Beauty)

Drawstring handles can be too long when they are drawn and the drawstrings do not make an easy to grab handle.

Kitchen bags with handles can tie up like Easy Flaps, but they do not have flaps that fold over for complete coverage of the contents when the bags are full.

Yes, Easy Flaps close up best, and the knot creates a handle that is firm and easy to hold.

LEAKAGE

Do Easy Flaps leak? Overall, I find they are suitably strong. I put all sorts of wet things in my garbage bags; and over the years, I remember three occasions when they did leak.

FIT

The new and improved stretch to fit top does work and I love it. No more need to try and tie the bags down or having them fall into the can. They keep the bags where they need to be hassle-free.

Great product, and buying on Amazon is the best way to purchase. I always forget to go down the trash bag aisle at the store, but now I can just have them delivered to my door!

They're great bags, but there are so many in this batch order that our modest household took more than two years to go through the last batch. Of course, now that we have a toddler, that might not take so long next time.

So I looked for it online and was happy to find this supply. Unfortunately, the product I received was NOT the Stretch & Grip, but just the plain Easy Flaps, which is not what I wanted. I was disappointed that the item I got was not what was pictured, and that I had the added inconvenience of returning this item.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not great quality, but couldn't be less expensive, November 12, 2011

The bags are a bit thin, but for normal household waste and recyclables, the price more than makes up for any shortcomings.

I don't see any advantage to the EZ flap system, over a normal shaped bag, so don't base the purchase on the design.

For the price, these can't be beat.

4.0 out of 5 stars I like the flaps, December 26, 2009

The easy flaps work well with the type of trash can that I have. The "elastic" feel of the flaps make it easy (no pun intended) to stretch the bag around my trash can and once on it stays on. When I am ready to change the bag I just pop it off and tie it up. Much easier than the bags with the ties in them.

yep, it is a trashbag and a pretty decent one at that! The handles can be tricky to tie. I wish they had a colored stripe on the flaps to see the knot better!

thanks amazon for having this product as a 'subscribe and save' item. this trash bag is not flimsy and holds more than others (that i have tried) of the same size. i cant see spending huge $ for trash bags. this is what i will continue to use, and to buy from amazon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Um, they're garbage bags......, August 25, 2010

I'm not sure why people are so passionate about garbage bags. These work. They are bags. They hold stuff...... I don't like to fill a bag to the brim if it means stinking up the kitchen for a week. I wanted cheap bags and that's what I got.... I'm happy. They lose a star for being a hair thinner than I'd like and having too big a box, more bags or less box people.... That's it, I hope you enjoyed reading about garbage bags :)

They are in my opinion easier to use and close then those ones with the pull straps, one quick knot by hand and toss, done.
