Powerful Confession,

This is the most beautiful confession of the Christian faith I have ever heard. The words of this confession pierce into my soul and put me in awe of God. I wish every Christian, and every unbeliever could hear the words of this brief catechism.

This Catechism as well as the Westminster Catechism are great for learning what it is that christianityhas taught and believed for centuries. The Catechisms do not replace the Bible but they do give clear and concise answers to what the Bible teaches and where in the bible to find the text and verses where the answers are derived. Catechisms are desperately needed today much as they were when they were developed. Sadly christians do not use them for a number of reasons which are not good reasons at all and it is very clear from the arguments for not using them that makes the case for using them, ironic isn't it. |
