Editorial Reviews

Singer/songwriter John Nolan began his musical career as the lead guitarist for Taking Back Sunday, helping to secure the band's place in the alternative rock spotlight before moving on to form Straylight Run in 2003. Between recent Straylight Run tours of the U.S. and Australia,John began directing his musical ideas and stock piled personal recordings toward an emerging solo project. John's solo songs reveal a strong dedication to the songwriting craft, showcasing the same musical instincts that led to the success of Taking Back Sunday and Straylight Run.

Format: Audio CD
John Nolan is a talented songwriter. Wether this talent have been showcased on Taking Back Sunday or Straylight Run records.
Talent means be able to change and stay creative: and this record proves it.
Songs like the opener shows a good mix of electronic beats and melody that can be compared to Bright Eyes Digital Ashes.
In the other songs, Nolan plays gentle acoustic numbers or Radioheadesque dark tracks, and always delivered something to the listener.
Nice Job!
