Product Description

A Cell-Cup is a must for commuters with cell phones. The Cell-Cup easily fits into the cup holder providing a secure location for your cell phone, note pad and pens or pencils. All of this in one handy location. It now holds popular phones such as iPhone, Blackberry and other large smart phones. Also holds your MP3 or iPod. Slots are 1-1/2 inches to 2-1/2 inches deep. The phone compartment even has an opening in the base for connecting phone and iPod charger cords.

Customer Reviews

Fits my Samsung S4 (without case) perfectly.

The holder is handy for a pen (but not in the pen slot as it is too thin for most pens).
D. Smith
Sent back as the phone sunk so far down it was annoying to pull out each time.

I have an iPhone 4S with a very thin close-fitting Ivyskin hard case. It will fit into the fattest backmost pocket, but I have to wedge it in, which means when I try to pull it out it brings the entire cell phone holder with it and I have to use both hands to separate the phone from the holder.

It will fit in the middle pocket, but with the same limitation, and an additional complication: the pocket is not deep enough (front to back), so the home button on my phone is constantly pressed. So that won't work either.

I'm sure my phone without the case would fit in the fat designated phone pocket (barely), but I'm not about to get rid of my protective phone case just to use this product.

I am also absolutely positive that my wife's Samsung Galaxy S would not fit into the thing at all, even without a case on.

Good idea, especially making it of pliable foam, but otherwise poor execution. The product is useless to me.

What do you do with your cell phone when in the car? Some people have a mount on the windshield or dash and put the phone there. Some will keep it in their pocket. Some will put it on the seat next to them. Etc.

This little solution is simple but totally convenient. It's so easy to have a place to drop your cell phone -- in either slot, or if your spouse is with you, both phones are accommodated. I had a previous version of this holder, but the slot was only big enough for my previous phone and would not fit the Droid Incredible. That's when I discovered this one, and it works perfectly. In fact, I have since bought the somewhat larger Droid X and it fits perfectly for it. So when my wife and I are out together, there sit my Droid X in one slot and her Droid Incredible in the other, just as cozy together as we are.

I know there are other ways to use this organizer, but this is how I use it, and it is a perfect solution for me at a ridiculously low price. I would gladly have paid twice as much for this level of convenience.

As other reviews have noted, depending on your car this cup organizer will probably protrude from the top of your cup holder. Personally I find it a plus, but I suppose it depends on where your cup holders are etc. The item is slanted at the top, so the shortest height is 3.5" whilst the other side is 5.5" high. For reference it also grows in diameter as it rises, from around 3" to nearly 4", though it will probably be outside of your cup holder by the larger diameter.

Other comments hold, the pen holder is not deep enough, I do not know why. Per my picture I used a 3/4" drill bit and drilled it out so now it easily hold pens without issue.

The other compartments (iPhone rectangle & BB rounded) are plenty deep enough for any phone, so unsure why the issue. Whilst you can run a charging cable up through the bottom of the organizer, it is really more trouble than it is worth, as you are constantly having to deal with pulling it through or stuffing it back in. I am going to look for a really narrow charging port and see if I can implant it in the bottom of the iPhone section, which would be fantastic.

Other than that, I gave it four stars for the minor quibbles (oh yes, the "coin" holder could possibly hold half a chap-stick, but definitely not coins), it is well constructed, OEM (kinda) looking, and with some minor effort a perfect holder. I also purchased a Perfect Solutions Cup Holder Car Organizer for comparison, and that is far inferior. It feels like it is made out of a light sponge and when you compress it a tiny bit to secure it in your holder all the compartments distort. As such I deem this the superior product which is also $3 cheaper right now :)

Fits in normal size cup holder and flares out slightly to provide more width without going overboard. Foam rubber is smooth, not porous. Doesn't give too much when compressed.

Can't put my iPhone in it with the cover on, so it's not much use to me. Too much material in it and no room for "stuff".

Thought this would be great for organization, but:

--Phone Slot is too small for Samsung Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5 (With small phone cases on).
--Charging slot is inaccessible while in cup holder.
--Cup holder doesn't fit in Jeep Cherokee Cup Holders (1998 and newer)
--Not as much organizational room as made out to believe
--Coin slot is useless.

Fits my Samsung S4 (without case) perfectly. Got a case? Forget it and look for a model that will take the phone with a case.

The compartments seem a little snug for many cell phones - especially if you have a case on yours. The holder seems to be made from a solid molded foam so you'll never hear anything rattling in it, which is nice. Since it's a little small for my Samsung Galaxy X, I use the back compartment for my garage door opener and the larger rectangular compartment for pens and pencils. I do like this product, but I'm not using it for it's intended purpose.
