The product came almost immediately after placing the order, and I found it very easy to assemble and install. However the barrier does not stay in place in my Subaru Forester, and I continually have to ask my stronger husband to tighten the screws. The barrier also fell on top of my foster dog when he became anxious and tried to stick his head in an open area.

The barrier will stay put for short hops in the car, and it has been helpful in keeping a nervous little dog in the back and not hopping all over the car while I'm driving. If I had to do it over again, I would have spent a bit more to get a product that stays in place which I don't constantly have to fiddle with.

I have used this product for a few years now and it is still going strong! Great product for a good price. It has adjustments both at the bottom and at the top to ensure a good fit in almost any SUV. I am using it in my Ford Escape and it has been working without any rattling, squeaking or other noises. Since it is not permanent secured, it is easy to fold down if you need to split the back seat when transporting any long items. Love it!

We purchased the Pet Partition to keep our dogs from jumping over the seat and getting into our newborn's face. We were happy to find one for $50 vs. the $100 we were seeing at other retailers. It took less than 10 minutes to unpackage, read the instructions, and install in our '04 4Runner. It was really simple to assemble and adjust to fit. It does it's job nicely without obstructing the view out the rear window. One thing to keep in mind is that it uses tension between the floor and roof to stay in place. Depending on how much your rear seats lean back, the vertical bars change the cargo area slightly, but it's simple enough to pack around. I would highly recommend this product.

I have two large dogs (a lab and a rottweiler) who destroyed the doors of my beloved 4Runner. When purchasing my new Ford Expedition recently I was determined not to let the dogs ruin this vehicle by keeping them confined to the back. The partition was a great way to solve this issue and installation was relatively easy. However due to the size of my vehicle and the fact that I have captain's chairs for the second row instead of a bench seat it was difficult to get the ideal level for the lower bar so that my lab couldn't wiggle her way under it. In the end my husband had to make some adjustments to the bars using a hacksaw but for the most part it has worked out. It doesn't rattle which is a huge plus and it is really well made. This item was definitely worth the investment but I just wish I had known before purchasing it that it might be an issue with the 2nd row captain's chairs.

Pet partition was advertised for use in a SUV or VAN. It was barely large enough for my Outback. Very flumsy and not enough rungs. Did not appreciate that I had to pay for shipping both ways when it was bogus. Shipping was not reasonable.

I bought this after reading several reviews. This product went assembled easily. I recommend running the rubber end caps under hot water to warm them up before trying to stretch them around the threaded nut retainers that go into the rubber end cups. Kept our Corgi secure in the back of our 2011 Outback.

I use this partition to keep the dogs in the back of our Tahoe. It works surprisingly well. We have made many road trips with it, and there is no major rattling or shifting. The height adjustment is great, as there are two sets of legs that you can use depending on the size of your vehicle, in accompaniment by large wing type nuts for fine adjustments. We have been using this for nearly 9 months now, and have had no major problems with it becoming loose, wobbly or otherwise. The only thing that has occurred is the O-rings that prevent the rattling inside the tube became dry and broke, however these were easily replaced with parts for the hardware store (~$0.50).

For about 1/3 the price of the units they sell in the pet stores, this unit does everything they do. I'ts really not much different from my friend's who paid the pet store price.

It appears to be good quality dispite a piece broken off in shipment.It was packed loose in the box.It's been two weeks and still haven't received the part yet.The instructions that were sent don't go with the
product.It wasn't to hard to figure out how it goes
together.

Another two weeks have gone by and still waitng on part.Haven't gotten
a responce from e-mail sent a week ago.

Thank you very much for the pet partition. The adjustable bars are easy to configure to assure a safety barrier between the cargo area and the seating area.
