operational history vs modeling book,

this is an excellent history of the development and operational use of the he-111. It is more for aviation enthusiasts and students of history than someone who wants many views or details so they can model.
The book has many 1st person accounts of their experience flying and crewing the he-111 on all fronts. It does have technical data and many black & white photos (one shortcoming, no color pictures and a cutaway view would have been nice) regarding each variants specifications, statistics, etc but this is not the focus of the book. The author has created a very vidid account of heinkels bomber, its strengths, weaknesses and i definately recommend this book to collectors of aviation books. |
